The Apegusu Akwamu Nkosuohemaa and Founder of the OPK Foundation in the Asuogyaman District, Nana Yaa Piesie Kwafobea I, has urged students in Apegusu to take their academics seriously, stressing that they are the future leaders of Ghana.
Addressing the pupils, the traditional leader encouraged them to remain disciplined, listen to their teachers, and respect school authorities, noting that such obedience and dedication would shape them into responsible citizens capable of contributing meaningfully to national development.

She further reminded the students that they have the potential to become the next doctors, Members of Parliament, lawyers, and other professionals who will help transform the country.
Nana Yaa Piesie Kwafobea I gave the advice when she presented educational materials—exercise books, pens, and pencils—to five schools in the Apegusu community.
The beneficiary schools included:
-
Apegusu D/A Basic School
-
Asempaneye D/A Basic School
-
Apegusu Presby Primary
-
Apegusu Presby JHS
-
Elshaddai International School
On their part, Jake Nana Yaw Debrah, Headmaster of Asempaneye D/A Basic School, and Emmanuel Otto Addo, Academic Head at Apegusu Presby JHS, commended the Nkosuohemaa for her kind gesture and continuous support for education in Apegusu and its environs.
Some of the beneficiary students also expressed joy and gratitude, pledging to remain disciplined and committed to their studies in order to become exemplary leaders in the future.
