World Vision’s Southern Regional office and the Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide universal coverage services in the Oti Region.
This MOU aims to address challenges related to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and will benefit three districts: Krachi West Municipal, Krachi Nchumuru District, and Kadjebi Akan District.
During the signing ceremony, the Regional Coordinating Director, Rev. Harry Nii, expressed gratitude to World Vision for their timely intervention in the region.

He assured the council of the project’s commitment to supporting the project, highlighting the region’s long-standing WASH challenges.
“The ORCC has greatly benefited from World Vision and is eager to support this initiative,” he stated, encouraging District Chief Executives to monitor and evaluate the projects.
Irvine Aboagye, the Southern Regional Operations Manager of World Vision, acknowledged the organization’s support for the Oti Region and thanked the ORCC for their collaboration.
He emphasized that the WASH projects would alleviate water and sanitation issues in the beneficiary communities, improving their quality of life.

Robel Wamisho, Associate WASH Director of World Vision, encouraged the region to remain committed to the initiative.
He assured attendees that World Vision would work diligently to fulfill its mission and encourage supportive collaborations and open communication, emphasizing that his office is always available for new ideas.
The ceremony concluded with the signing of the MOU documents between World Vision and the three districts, outlining projects that are set to span five years.
