A businesswoman, Nana Ama Pokua Dekyi, has been installed as the Paramount Queenmother of the Wenchi Traditional Area in the Bono Region, taking the stool name Nana Ohemaa Afoa Pokuaa Dankoto II.
The colourful installation ceremony took place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Ahenfie Yefiri Royal Family Palace.
The event was attended by chiefs, family members of Ahenfie Yefiri, and friends from various walks of life.
