Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has underscored the need for greater attacking efficiency as his side prepares for Sunday’s league clash with Basake Holy Stars.
The Phobians make the trip to the AAK II Park for their Matchday 8 fixture, scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. kick-off.
Although Hearts have shown encouraging signs in the early stages of the season, Dramani admits their inability to make the most of scoring opportunities remains a concern.
“An area where we continue to work on is our chances creation. We want to be more consistent with it and also try to make the right decisions in the decisive moments of the game,” he told Hearts TV in his pre-match interview.
Dramani expects a competitive contest despite Holy Stars’ struggles, stressing that Hearts will approach the game with respect for their opponents but without abandoning their principles.
“We always respect their ability to play strongly. We are trying as much as possible to consolidate our ability to create better chances and to be more clinical. We will be cautious but try to consolidate our strengths and keep our identity and direction,” he added.
Hearts sit sixth on the table with 13 points, while Holy Stars are bottom, having collected just two points from their first seven matches.
