The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries have successfully ended in 100 orphan constituencies across Ghana with counting underway.
Provisional results from some constituencies are trickling in despite the delays in starting the elections at 7:00am.
‘Orphan constituencies’, refer to areas where the party lost the 2016 Parliamentary Elections to the opposition National Democratic Congress and, therefore, has no sitting Members of Parliament.
