Three more suspects arrested over Adabraka jewellery shop robbery

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of three additional suspects linked to the daylight robbery at a jewellery shop in Adabraka in the Greater Accra Region.

The suspects, identified as Fatao Mohammed, also known as Motorway; Nashiru Abubakari, popularly called Soldier; and Sadick Abubakar Satire, also known as 50 Cent, were apprehended on Monday, January 20, 2026.

In a statement, the Police said the trio are believed to be key leaders of the robbery syndicate responsible for the heist.

With these latest arrests, the total number of suspects currently in police custody in connection with the Adabraka robbery has risen to seven.

The incident occurred on November 2, 2024, when armed robbers attacked a jewellery shop in broad daylight and made away with cash and valuables worth GH¢7.5 million.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has reassured the public that investigations into the case are ongoing and has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all persons involved are brought to justice.
