The organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have officially announced the nominees for the Group of the Year category, which was absent from last year’s list.
The category, scrapped in 2025 due to an insufficient number of qualifying groups, makes a comeback for the 2026 edition.
Four groups have been nominated for the award: Lali x Lola, Soul Winners, Keche, and Bethel Revival Choir.
The reintroduction of the category is expected to spark renewed competition among music groups and give fans a chance to celebrate collective talent in the Ghanaian music industry.
The 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards is set to take place on May 9, 2026.
