According to him, wearing trousers is not from God.

He made this assertion on social media, adding that, wearing trousers promote the sexual immoral agenda, which is being set up by Satan.

Yaw Siki, therefore, advised women in the Christian faith to desist from such by dressing to cover their body well.

He wrote:

The Holy Spirit we have in Jesus Christ will not lead women to wear trousers, it is not from God. The devil is using it to promote His sexual immoral agenda; please put it aside and dress to cover your body well.

Meanwhile, some of his followers believed the rapper had been brainwashed to believe the lies.

Yaw Siki, as he is popularly known in a tweet to announce the marriage, posted a picture of the newly-weds captioned “He makes everything beautiful in its time ( Ecclesiastes 3:11).”

Yaw Siki, following the post, has received series of congratulatory messages from twitter users.

Yaw Siki, who had his debut hiplife song ‘Wope Dodo’ in 2011, switched from secular music to gospel in appreciation of God’s favour for him and the second chance offered him after he escaped death in an accident on the Accra -Tema Motorway.

Yaw Siki who now preaches the Gospel, told JoyNews’ MzGee, he rather declined acceptance of the offer from Sonnie Badu because he felt the timing was inapropriate.

Sonnie in March last year, offered financial support to the Ministry of the born-again brother.

But Yaw Siki said he got direction from God, telling him not to accept the offer.

“My elder brother was giving me an offering out of loving kindness and I told the media that I did not take the offer but the media also said I rejected and it was harsh so I think that led to other things,” he noted.

Sonnie Badu later apologised to Yaw Siki after it was reported that, preacher was displeased with the decision by the UK-based musician who went public with the gesture.

After his recovery last year, the former hiplife artiste had to sacrifice the fame, money and temporal ‘goodies’ that came with stardom and has since taken on to evangelism.

Though he finds the work of God fulfilling, he says it also came with its own challenges.

In an exclusive with TV3’s Owusu Worae, Brother Yaw disclosed how tempting it gets sometimes working in God’s vineyard.

“The temptation comes but the grace of God keeps me going,” he stated emphatically.

How is he able to overcome such temptation? Brother yaw responded: “I do what is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, it says flee sexual immorality….”

He revealed how a female fan attempted seducing him. It is his wish that his songs are not played again. He explains that “I feel that the message (in the old songs) does not edify people”.
