Wayoosi’s latest musical effort, titled ‘Nana Adobia’, is set to remind Ghanaians of Mahama’s achievements and criticize the current administration led by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

The song is slated for official release on July 23 across all digital platforms.

Wayoosi sang about the unfulfilled promises made by Nana Akufo-Addo and contrasts them with the positive impact he believes Mahama can bring.

In his lyrics, Wayoosi portrays Mahama as a savior ready to heal the nation and urged Ghanaians to give the former president a second chance to lead the country back to prosperity.

Wayoosi, formerly a strong sympathizer of the NPP, switched camps after Mahama provided him financial support during his battle with kidney failure.

In a previous interview, Wayoosi praised Mahama for his personal connection with the people and his accessibility.

He commended Mahama’s 24-hour policy and expressed admiration for the developmental projects initiated during the NDC’s tenure, including the construction of markets, schools, and other infrastructure.

Wayoosi’s campaign song aims to rally support for Mahama and encourage Ghanaians to consider the former president’s track record as they head to the polls.

In an interview with Zionfelix, Wayoosi cited his personal connection with Mahama and his accessibility and responsiveness to the needs of the people.

He praised Mahama’s “24-hour policy” and revealed he is impressed by developmental projects initiated during the national Democratic Congress’ tenure.

Wayoosi highlighted the construction of markets, schools and other developmental structures achieved by Mahama within a short span of four years.

Expressing his belief in Mahama’s vision for Ghana, Wayoosi, asserted that they are designed to benefit not only the present generation but also future ones.

It is for these reasons, he said he transitioned from supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the Kuffour era to aligning with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after careful consideration and study of the political landscape.

Wayoosi also praised the former president for his investment in the creative sector, specifically mentioning support for Kumawood and personal donations to actors, particularly veterans.

He applauded Mahama for his genuine concern for the welfare of individuals within the creative industry and beyond.

Wayoosi urged fellow Ghanaians to consider Mahama’s track record and policies when casting their votes to ensure the realization of Mahama’s vision for the nation.

He expressed concern about the additional financial burden imposed by the new levy amidst an already challenging economic climate.

In a TikTok live video, Wayoosi lamented the lack of tangible benefits from these levies.

“Things are tough for Ghanaians at the moment and you are adding this one too?.” he quizzed.

Wayoosi could not fathom why Ghana has introduced this levy when many countries with high levels of pollution do not impose emission levies.

“If we don’t take care, we will soon pay eating levy. The duty should be reduced so that people can buy good cars to avoid too much smoke” he said.

The photos, which have gone viral on social media, captured the actor born Joseph Osei in a Manchester jersey as he poses by a black car.

He had the braids at the centre of the head tied into a doughnut ponytail. 

Though the reason behind the new hairstyle of Wayoosi who usually keeps a ponk is not immediately known, it has garnered mixed reactions on social media.

The actor was clad in a blue ‘kaba and slit’ ensemble. He complemented his looks with a short blunt wig and bracelets.

Wayoosi posted the photo on Instagram with the caption: “Let’s respect our women”.

His fans who had fallen in love with his new look thanked him for appreciating women.

Known for his diminutive stature, Wayoosi said he has for some time been harassed by persons he is not acquainted with, for being unusual.

The situation, he said has reached his brim which has caused him to reach the decision to assault any more offenders.

Despite admitting he is relatively disadvantaged, the actor said he will employ all his strength to slap anyone who makes the least effort to make him feel bad.

For persons in doubt of what he can do, Wayoosi revealed he used to be known as the ‘Kofrom bad boy’ due to his wicked nature.

According to him, he used to mingle with the big boys and drug addicts, who trained him on security tactics as well as offensive and defensive tackles.

“I am very short tempered so I don’t like being tempted. Anyone who mocks my height, all I can say is you will regret it. Don’t try it, you will regret it,” he said in an interview on Hammer Time monitored by Adomonline.com

Wayoosi has once been invited to the police station for attacking a television producer with pepper spray after a show.

Speaking on that incident, Wayoosi said his action was warranted after the TV producer made an expensive joke he did not appreciate.

The producer asking “is this one also a human?” did not auger well with him, as that was the second time he [the producer] had made such remarks.

He made reference to that incident to warn trolls of what await them when he meets them face-to-face.

Wayoosi disclosed that he was forced to drink his own urine, to avoid facing sanitation sanctions in America.

The actor relocated to America after he bounced back from a near-fatal kidney failure five years ago.

In a latest interview, he disclosed that while on his runs in the State, he felt the urge to urinate, but he could not sight any restroom.

Consequently, Wayoosi continued that he was forced to urinate inside a disposable rubber, with the intention of emptying it at the next available restroom.

However, along the line, he, and some other persons in his car, were stopped for security check – he suspects the reason is that ‘black groups’ have been stereotyped in the country.

During the search, he said the security officer raised concerns about the content of the polythene, and he lied that it was medicine.

Still unconvinced with his response, Wayoosi said the officer ordered him to hand over, which he obeyed and it was then the officer found out it was urine.

To avoid doubts, the celebrated actor said he was forced to drink his urine, after which he explained to the officer that it was a prescription by his doctor.

He made the claims to buttress his point that the system abroad works, unlike this part of the world.

But for Mr Mahama’s help, Wayoosi confessed he might not have cheated death when it came knocking in a form of kidney failure.

In a backpedal to 2016, Wayoosi recounted how Mr Mahama financed his treatment through the then Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts when he was admitted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

For this, the actor, on behalf of his family, has sent profound gratitude to the former president via his social media pages after failing to reach him in person.

Wayoosi, who miraculously recovered without dialysis or transplant, is back on track, except for a total change of diet he has adapted to.

The photo of the adorable lady, which has taken many by surprise, was the actor’s own way of preaching peace in the build-up to the December polls.

He took to his Instagram page to show off the lady who rocked a nice white outfit with her gold choker necklace.

Wayoosi, who hitherto bragged about how he consumed eight bottles of liquor per day, slowly got ‘drunk’ in coma, while he was awaiting dialysis.

Recounting how he survived, the actor said, he woke up from a ‘coma’ in the hospital to see former hiplife artiste now turned pastor, Lord Kenya praying for him

The prayers of his colleagues and Ghanaians spared him the trauma of dialysis: His kidney started performing normally.

Wayoosi, who claims to have learnt his bitter lesson, has promised not to drink alcohol or eat meat again.

His vegetarian lifestyle has paid off as he looks healthier than he used to be, slimmer and full of life.

The actor is back to his normal activities; partying, shooting movies and making money, and some latest photos he posted confirm that fact.
