In a recent viral interview, Vivian explained that while the industry continues to produce movies, it has become increasingly difficult to bring together many top actors for a single project due to their busy schedules.

“Right now, everyone is busy. Even I am about to start a new project,” she said. “If you call anyone, they are all occupied. I recently worked on a project and tried to reach Nana Ama McBrown, but she was tied up with something else. I called Mathilda, and she was also on set. Last week, I needed another actress, but she couldn’t make it because she was also on set.”

She dismissed the notion that Kumawood is struggling, attributing the perceived slowdown to the bustling schedules of its stars. “It’s not that there’s an issue with Kumawood or the industry. Everyone is just busy,” she clarified.

Vivian also expressed optimism about the future of Kumawood, revealing plans for a major project aimed at bringing top talents such as Agya Koo and Lil Win together.

“It’s just a matter of getting everyone at once. But we’ll definitely be doing something big to show that Kumawood is still here and thriving,” she added.

Her comments come amidst ongoing concerns about the state of the Kumawood industry, with critics citing challenges like economic hardships, lack of support, and even allegations of witchcraft as possible factors.

Touched by the plight of the woman, Vivian Jill decided to demolish the thatch house and construct an ultramodern house with multiple beds to accommodate the entire family.

It took her few weeks to complete the house and hand it over to the family.

The woman expressed profound gratitude for this life-changing transformation, adding that Vivian Jill’s generosity has not only provided her with a safe and comfortable living space but has also given her hope for a brighter future.

Her crime, per the woman’s accusation, was flirting with Kyeiwaa’s on-screen husband in a movie scene.

Vivian said that statement made tempers calm in the bank, and everyone broke out in laughter.

The actress said she took the pain to explain to the woman that she has a life separate from the scenes, and that accusation is merely false.

Despite her defense, she continued that the woman cursed her and tagged her a husband snatcher.

“She was just furious. I tried explaining to her but she asked me why a pretty lady like me will accept such a role,” Vivian said in an interview on Adom TV’s Okukuseku.

This would not be the first time the on-screen goddess has been accused of husband snatching. In all, she maintains her innocence.

Vivian Jill made the revelation while speaking on how some roles have affected her private life, and if acting is worth it.

Sunsum, known in private life as Yaw Adu, disclosed in a recent interview that Vivian Jill once refused to kiss him on set.

According to Sunsum, he was pained when Vivian Jill’s prevented him from doing his role well.

But Vivian Jill who admitted that the incident happened said it was not deliberate.

“It was my first time meeting him together with other diminutive people who were around so I really got scared,” she said.

There was a naming ceremony organised on Saturday, June 17 in Kumasi and almost all the top actors in the Ghanaian movie industry were present. One of the few couples who gained the attention of Zionfelix.net at the event was actress Mercy Asiedu and husband Nana Agyemang Badu, who happens to be the chief of Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.

The couple during the event got on the dancefloor to display for all to enjoy their dance moves. Mercy and Nana Agyemang Badu married on April 2 this year.
