On June 3, 2021, prophet Joshua recorded a video to wish himself a Happy Birthday, nine days to his actual day; June 12.

In the pre-recorded message, one of it’s kind, the prophet stated that he is a man of the people, so a wound of one is a wound of all, adding it will not be easy for him to celebrate his birthday.

His choice of expression was rather pensive for someone excited to turn 58 in some few days.

“Some of the people who want to come are troubled by the situation all over the world. We see their fear and worry. I feel their pain; I feel their worry,” he said.

As a result of the ongoing pandemic and unknown future occurrences, he tasked his fans all over the world to dedicate his birthday to prayer and fast, as well as give alms to the needy.

Until yesterday, Saturday June 5, news of his passing was sketchy. But, his passing has been announced on his official Facebook post.

It was revealed through the same medium that T.B. Joshua gave a touching preaching on the appointed time of man, as though he knew he won’t see the day break.

PROPHET TB JOSHUA – JUNE 12th 1963 to JUNE 5th 2021“Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” – Amos 3:7

On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”

God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.

As Prophet T.B. Joshua says ‘the greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it’. Prophet T.B. Joshua leaves a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s Kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn.

Here are Prophet TB Joshua’s last words: “Watch and pray.” One life for Christ is all we have; one life for Christ is so dear.

Recall that his first daughter got married three weeks ago to her South African husband, who is also a worker in the Synagogue Church of All Nations.

Prophet Joshua shared a video on his Facebook page, where he preached on the topic titled ‘Persecution is Promotion’. The message stressed on the importance of obeying God’s word no matter how hard.

He explained God instructed him to meet him at the mountains for the message of the year 2021 on the same date.

He said he had to obey God first because He is all he has and without Him, he would fail.

He further explained that he had had several closed-door meetings with the bride and the groom and that he was in full support of the wedding. 

This is to counter speculations that he was not happy with his daughter’s choice of partner.
