Many industry players were expecting Don Tsegah to be plain with Tinny, when the latter appeared for an interview on Hitz FM, after he had insulted Stonebwoy for paying his debt.

But a lot of them were left disappointed after Don Tsegah rather apologised to Tinny for breaking a story that the musician felt uncomfortable with.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Adom Entertainment Hall, Don Tsegah said people perceived him to be a pretender for not responding to Tinny, but he has disagreed.

“There are lot of people who had different views with some thinking I was a hypocrite for not being able to talk when I met him on the show,” Don Tsegah noted.

“I couldn’t talk on the show but there were so many reasons why I had to take that course of action,” he added.

Mr Tsegah indicated it would have been an awful situation if he had responded to Tinny.

“Considering the posture he came into the studio with, it would have been messy if I had retaliated to whatever he said and that is why I had to take that course of action,” he said.

“I exhibited that action for a good reason,” he added.

According to him, Papa Shee has exceptional talent when it comes to doing music, hence it would only be right if he accepts the music calling than tow the path of evangelism.

“Papa Shee must go back to doing highlife music; you have the talent. Though God has called him he can do this on the side,” he told Andy Dosty.

Mr Tsegah recalled how Papa Shee performed some of his old songs during his weekend show on Asempa FM.

“The last time I interviewed him, he brought those songs back and was using them as example. I can see that it is part of him and the swag he even has,” Da Don noted.

Papa Shee becoming a pastor

Musician-turned-pastor, Papa Shee, disclosed how he met Jesus Christ and was instructed to begin preaching the word of God to the World on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM last year.

According to the ‘Ate Pa’ hitmaker, he saw Jesus in a dream he described as “very deep.”

He showed himself to me when I was asleep. I wasn’t able to watch his face because I felt like filth before him. Just like helicopters’ high-intensity searchlight, his glory shines so brightly so I couldn’t watch his face,” he revealed to Andy Dosty.

Video: Shatta Wale advised to wear condoms http://34.58.148.58/video-shatta-wale-advised-wear-condoms/ Sat, 20 Jan 2018 14:56:57 +0000 http://35.232.176.128/ghana-news/?p=855551 The host of ‘You Say Wetin’ on Hitz FM, Prince Tsegah has advised dancehall musician Shatta Wale to wear condoms before he engages in sex.
Speaking in an interview with Price Tsegah, the award-winning dancehall artiste blamed the lack of condom use as the main reason he has three children with three women.
“…Then, I no dey like am but now I dey like…,” he exclaimed.

Shatta Wale, however, debunked perceptions that he does not cater for the two children (Cherissa and Jedidiah) because he is not close to them.
Asked whether his two other children will recognize him if they see him, he responded in the affirmative, saying his children call him “Chaaaaaampioon!!!!’”
It is against this backdrop that Prince Tsegah advised the ‘Dancehall King’ to wear condoms if he thinks he is not ready to have kids.
According to him, Shatta Wale ‘has to do what is right. Sometimes to solve these situations you have to wear a condom. If you wear a condom all these things won’t happen.’
He continued that, the ‘freedom’ composer should protect himself by wearing a condom in order to prevent any Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
The PRO for GHAMRO, however, commended Shatta Wale for being a responsible father.

Shatta fans haunt Prince Tsegah http://34.58.148.58/shatta-fans-haunts-prince-tsegah/ Wed, 26 Jul 2017 16:35:27 +0000 http://35.232.176.128/ghana-news/?p=333061 A controversial entertainment critic, Prince Tsegah has quit social media following threats of death from fans of self-acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale.
The outspoken entertainment pundit incurred the wrath of the Shatta fans when he criticized the musician for not living up to expectation.
The issue became murkier when Mr. Tsegah also known as The Don, host of ‘You Say Wetin’ On Hitz FM reported on his show that Shatta Michy’s Diamond pub at East Legon was to be demolished by officials of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) for having placed the structure at an unauthorized location also without a permit .
According to The Don, Michy who was reported to have begged the officials of the AMA, was given a one week ultimatum to vacate the place.
Social media was set on fire with the news and even Michy’s husband and self-acclaimed dancehall King Shatta wale was not spared. He was slammed for not legally acquiring a land for his wife when he always bragged about the wealth he has acquired.
This incensed fans of Shatta Wale who have threatened to kill Mr. Tsegah for bringing the name of their ‘Supreme god’ into disrepute.
Speaking on Adom entertainment Hall last Saturday with Mike2, Tsegah said, the fans of Shatta Wale especially on facebook have threatened to pour acid on him
“I left social media because of Shatta fans. They come on social media and insult my parents, my children and my great grandchildren and also threatening with texts that when I talk about Shatta and they see me, they will pour acid on me”
‘I think more discerning people will not behave like the fans are doing”, he fumes.
“I am not afraid of them but I just don’t want it to get to me. If it gets to me I will lose focus. I want to continue doing what I’m doing without fear or favor. They have been doing it always but they are now realizing that they can’t do anything to me again” he said.
