His advice came in the wake of a recent comment made by Archbishop Charles Agyin-Asare, the founder and leader of Perez Chapel during a sermon in his Church auditorium in Accra.

The archbishop’s comments received a lot of backlash from members of the public purported to be indigenes of Nogokpo, which according to Torgbi Saba, were not coming from the right people.

A statement issued by the palace of Torgbi Saba V said “it has come to the notice of Torgbi Saba V, Dufia of Nogokpo, the current happenings on social media about Archbishop Charles Agyin-Asare and Nogokpo – we wish to let Ghanaians and the world know that we are deliberating on the issue and the general public shall hear from us in due course.”

The statement directs all media outlets and the public seeking further clarification, to do so through the appropriate channel.

Mahama, NDC gurus worship with Agyinasare at Perez Chapel http://34.58.148.58/mahama-ndc-gurus-worship-with-agyinasare-at-perez-chapel/ Mon, 25 Apr 2022 10:22:52 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2108320 Former President John Mahama on Sunday, 24 April 2022, joined Archbishop Charles Agyinasare to worship at the Perez Chapel, Dzorwulu in Accra

The visit was to formally congratulate the man of God who recently celebrated his 60th birthday before his consecration as Archbishop of the Perez Chapel, formerly World Miracle Church International.

Also present at the service was NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, a former National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) boss; Sylvester Mensah, Director of Elections; Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Ningo Prampram MP; Sam George who is also a member of Perez Chapel, among others.

Mr Mahama in his address to the church eulogised Archbishop Agyinasre for his exemplary contribution to national development.

“Belated birthday wishes especially as I was unable to join you to commemorate the important milestone of 60 years. Let me state that I have known the Archbishop for many decades… for a very long time, since his days as a young pastor.

“We are both old now. I have as a politician and former President remained close to the Archbishop and I have on many occasions sought him out for his wise counsel,” Mahama eulogised.

The former President added: “I have no doubt that considering the Archbishop’s life as a pastor, his exemplary contribution to the growth of the church and to our national development, he has stood firm in his service to the Lord.

“He has throughout the years remained steadfast and focused and I have no doubt that his rise to the level of an Archbishop has been ordained by the good Lord. Congratulations my brother. The Lord has been faithful and will continue to be with you all the days of your life.”

He went on to thank Archbishop Agyinasare and the congregation for what he said was their support for him and his family.

“Lordina, the children and myself extend our warm felicitations to you, your family and the church. As our moral voices, we expect, you to continue to speak truth to power as you have done over the years,” he stated.

Leave men of God with private jets alone – Bishop Agyinasare begs http://34.58.148.58/leave-men-of-god-with-private-jets-alone-bishop-agyinasare-begs/ Tue, 30 Mar 2021 07:52:12 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1941287 The overseer of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has defended wealthy pastors who have often been criticised by some members of the public for living affluent lifestyles.

He said some have even gone to the extent of accusing them of extorting monies from their church members to fund their lavish lifestyles.

However, Bishop Agyinasare disagrees that every wealthy man of God is living off his members’ money.

According to him, affluent pastors he knows are genuinely rich through God’s grace.

Responding to why men of God should own private jets on Joy FM’s A Walk with Jesus on Sunday, he said, “there are times we blame people who have jets, please, if they have the money and they can buy it and its not at the expense of anybody please let’s leave them alone….”

Bishop Agyinasare also reckoned why it is always a big deal when a man of God is affluent but people are silent about rich business people who own jets.

“There are times they criticise men of God without even looking at their output without looking at what they are doing…you see there are times we make comparisons and they are not realistic at all,” he said.

According to him, the church will always have needy people who will fall on the support of the church but that should not deter men of God from using their means to work.

“Look as for poor people, there will always be poor people in the church because as some are trained they learn the principles and their lives are being transformed so new people from the streets are coming and because new people are coming, does it mean that what they must do to cause efficiency in the work place they shouldn’t do it?

“So as for the businessman it’s okay to have plane but the pastor it is wrong to have it, why?” he quizzed.

Bishop Agyinsare is a man of means in his own right. He has transformed from a budding young evangelist to oversee the flock of a 14,000 seater Perez chapel International.

He also looks up to his spiritual father, Nigerian man of Bishop David Oyedepo who is worth over $150 million.

“While we were praying, he connected to his brother; now the brother is moving in the hospital… The Doctor said in 20 minutes the brother was going to die, he is on oxygen, after prayer, he took off the oxygen and he is beginning to walk”, the Ghanaian founder of Perez Chapel International announced to the sea of Pakistani Christians on the third day of the Festival of Miracles service in the predominantly Muslim country.

Also, an old man who had been confined to a wheelchair, got healed on the same night. “The power of the Lord has touched him”, Bishop Agyinasare said.

At the same miracle service, a woman who was unable to walk for the past three years, could suddenly do so while a young boy who has not been able to speak for the past six year, also received his miracle.

Among the miracle recipients was a 50-year-old woman who has been hard of hearing since birth.

Additionally, a little girl who had a growth on her chest got healed of the tumour during prayers. It disappeared.

God also touched a woman who has been battling nasal bleeding as a result of a growth in her nose for the past four years. There were several other miracles that happened at the three-day event.

Bishop Agyinasare arrived in the Muslim country on Monday, 30 April for the three-day miracle event. Karachi is home to 27 million of Pakistan’s 200 million population with 93 per cent of them being Muslims. Christians are just 3 per cent of the entire population.

The Festival of Miracles in Pakistan follows similar ones held in Accra, Ghana, through which several people received miraculous healing.

Be a role model to your children – Bishop Agyinasare to fathers http://34.58.148.58/remodel-children-agyin-asare-fathers/ Sun, 18 Jun 2017 12:06:45 +0000 http://35.232.176.128/ghana-news/?p=191611 The presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare has urged fathers to be role models to their children.

According to him, the best way to raise happy, healthy, successful and self-confident children is to raise them in the Lord.

“It must be your desire to raise your children to love, honour and serve God. The children must know God as first in the life” he said.

Bishop Agyinasare made the call in a sermon as the world marks Father’s Day today.

Fathers’ Day is a celebration started by an American woman, Sonora Smart Dodd who was raised by her father after their mother died.

While listening to a Mother’s Day sermon with her father at the Central Methodist Church in 1909, she was bothered there was not a day to honour her civil war veteran father who raised her and five younger brothers alone.

Dodd wanted the celebration to be held on June 5, her father’s birthday, but planning difficulties pushed the first Father’s Day celebration to the 3rd Sunday in June of every year.

Bishop Agyinasare used the occasion to urge fathers to provide the necessary support in the household and to play an important role in the lives of their children.

He also cautioned fathers not to chastise their siblings and parents in front of their children because it breeds negative character in them.
