Nigerian music duo, the P Square brothers have climaxed their reunion after a five-year rift with a plush birthday ceremony.

Paul and Peter gave their fans the long-awaited reconciliation to enjoy their 40th birthday celebration as they hug passionately in a viral video earlier in the day.

They went on to hold a grand party on Thursday night that had scores of family and friends in attendance to share in their joy.

Taking guests down memory lane, they treated them with back-to-back performances of their hit songs.

Popular Nigerian producer and artiste, Don Jazzy was also present to partake in the memorable day.

PSquare’s Paul’s wife files for divorce

After 17 years together and seven years of marriage; Entrepreneur and Children’s Retailer, Anita Okoye, has filed to divorce her husband, Paul Okoye of former music duo group P Square.

The former couple share three children together. Anita and her kids relocated to the United States a few months back.

A divorce document making the rounds on social media revealed the seven years old marriage of the couple crashed over irreconcilable differences.

Several reactions have continued to trail the news, with some people attributing the failed marriage to their elder brother Jude Okoye.

‘I regret my actions during the P-Square feud’- Paul Okoye

Paul Okoye of the defunct music group P-Square, who recently broke up after a huge family feud has revealed that he regrets his actions.
In a recent interview, the musician apologised for his behaviour. He berated himself for shading his brother on social media during the crisis and said he didn’t think things through and was acting under a negative influence which he can’t explain.
He added that they have both parted ways but he will still go on to performs songs done by the duo despite their breakup.
He said, “I think I was very stupid, in that aspect. Something got into me. I couldn’t stand him. But what I did, I regretted it. Please forgive me for that and let me move on.”
‘Trust me, I don’t know. I don’t want to say anything about that issue now. Everyone has issues with their family members but when did they bring it to social media? Of what good is it. That is me, I can’t.

Peter Okoye today on Inspiration 92.3fm spoke more about his feud with his brothers, Paul and Jude. Peter says he doesn’t hate anyone but it is just that they can’t do business (music) together again.
He also said aside that, he is trying to make peace with them (his brothers) but they are not ready. While answering fans who called in, Peter said;
“It’s not about us singing together that really matters because that’s what you guys know. But think about it, this could be a blessing in disguise. I’m not trying to break the family or make anyone look bad. I don’t hate anybody and I’m not trying to make my brothers feel bad. I wish everybody the best.
“Everybody is doing well now, let’s just keep it that way. I came out to sing alone to show people I can sing because if I hadn’t done so people will keep thinking otherwise. My mother, if she was alive, would have said we should remain together but not do music (business) together. I’m doing my best to settle with my family but they (family) are not ready. However, for the business aspect, I’m done.”

Peter Okoye, former member of Nigerian music group, P-Square, has revealed why he no longer carries on business activities with his siblings.
According to him, engaging in business with members of one’s family was not healthy.
In an interview with Guardian Life, Peter also said he does not regret revealing the problems of his family to the world and that there is nothing wrong in him doing that because he believes he owes that to his fans who would’ve seen through them sooner rather than later.
He went further to state that he couldn’t continue with the “mess” and while his relationship with his brothers might not be as good as it was, it is certainly not as bad as most people think it to be.
The ‘Cool It Down’ singer, who is also known by his stage name, Mr. P, said: “If I hadn’t opened up, the fans would have seen through it all…
“The only thing that kept us for the last four years was the shows; it’s not healthy, I can’t do that, I’m sorry.
“It never started from me. If you feel that it is my fault, for telling you guys the truth, look at where it has brought us today.
“I am cool with my brothers but I don’t do (family) business anymore. It’s not healthy.”

P-Square will come back only if the respect is back – Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, has revealed the only reason that will bring erstwhile music group P-Square together.

The now solo artiste who recently released a brand new single, entitled ‘Cool it Down’ in an interview with Vibe Magazine said that the only incentive for the reconciliation of P-Square is respect.

When asked if there is a possibility of the duo coming back together, Mr P said “Of course, when the respect is back. When you stay apart for a while, the respect will come. We’ve lost it.

People will never understand but we’ve lost that respect. Like I said in the open letter, we will work in future but when we come back, it will be from respect. There was no respect that’s why there has been a back and forth.”

The singer further added that it was respect that made the group last long and not because they are brothers “It was respect all through. What made us grow was respect? Not because we’re brothers. Not even because we’re twins. It was because we had respect for each other,” he said.

Its now confirmed that Famous music duo, PSqaure are no longer paired at least, for music and business. Peter Okoye had ignited rumours of a possible feud between him and his twin brother Paul Okoye.

Peter Okoye accused his twin brother of getting jealous of his twin birth, also accusing paul’s wife, Lola of destroying a peaceful family.

Peter Okoye has however sent a termination letter to their lawyer Festus Keyamo (SAN), demanding for a termination of the agreement between Psquare.

In the letter, he defends his decision by making some serious allegations against his twin Paul and older brother/group manager Jude.

According to Peter, Paul is no longer willing to co-operate with him, even going as far as cancelling their planned US tour this year without informing him, and he (Peter) has exhausted all options to make it work.

He also accused Paul of slandering his wife and children with lies on social media, and alleged that they’ve now been receiving threatening messages.

Peter further accused his older brother Jude of once threatening to kill him and shoot his wife Lola. This allegedly happened in the presence of Paul and former first lady of Cross River state Mrs. Imoke. Jude allegedly also threatened to bring a coffin for him (Peter) if he ever comes near his house.

Peter insists that he has had enough of the drama and wants out of the Psqaure group and contract. The singer who now refers to himself as Mr. P, stated that he loves his brothers and their families, and he wishes them the very best in their careers. However he cannot betray his wife and kids as they are very important to him.

P Square’s Paul Okoye and his wife Anita Okoye welcomed a set of twins in a hospital in Atlanta.
The bundles of joy have been named Nathan and Nadia and their igbo names are Obinna and Adaobi Okoye. Massive congrats to them.

The excited father took to Instagram to celebrate their birth. He wrote; “God!! Na me be dis!!?…#twins #papaejima #babaibeji #babayanbiu #doubledouble. What else can I say, God we thank you. Now the house is complete. Full house soon.
