In an interview to promote her latest release, ‘Nyame Nye Mistake’, she recounted how her fan requested her number to send her airtime as appreciation for her ministry.

To her surprise, an alert of GHS 10,000 was received on her phone, which left her exhibiting an array of emotions from confusion to excitement.

Mama Esther said she was left shaking when she received the alert, as she had never expected such a generous gift.

Doubting whether it was a mistake, she quickly called the sender to confirm.

However, the fan assured her that the money was intentional and was only a fraction of what he planned to send, explaining that her music had deeply impacted his life.

Mama Esther noted that people often assume she is wealthy and rarely send her such large sums.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, she forwarded the fan’s number to her children so they could extend their appreciation on her behalf.

In a post shared by Zionfelix on January 16, 2025, Mama Esther expressed in her tribute song how the sudden passing of Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, known as “Agaga,” has deeply affected her daughter, Empress Gifty.

Mama Esther also acknowledged the shock and sorrow felt by many, including church members and those within the creative arts community, following Agaga’s untimely death.

Empress Gifty had announced the loss of her mother on December 14, 2024, via social media.

Recently, Empress Gifty shared details about the funeral arrangements, revealing that her mother would be laid to rest on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Tema Community 8 school park.

She also invited sympathisers to join her in mourning as she bids her final farewell to her beloved mother.

She is tagged as one of the very few who preaches the gospel in her music.

The legendary gospel musician Mama Esther took to social media to celebrate her mother, Hannah Opoku.

According to what Ghpage.com gathered, the woman, Hannah Opoku, gave her house to the Church of Pentecost during the olden days to be used until the church was able to put up a structure.

This Kind gesture according to what we were told opened the door gate for the lord to bless her womb after 50 years with a child and that child is the blessed Mama Esther.

We must, however, state that the oldest mother to conceive is a British woman, Dawn Brooke, who gave birth at the age of 59.
