Rapper Kwaw Kese says there is no difference between politicians and armed robbers in Ghana because they are like-minded.

According to him, while armed robbers use guns and ammunitions, politicians use pen and paper to steal from their people.

Politicians and armed robbers, they are all the same. The only difference be sey armed robbers dey use guns and ammunition. Politicians dey use pen and paper.

Rapper Kwaw Kese is still demanding to know who killed his former manager on the fourth anniversary of his gruesome murder.
Fennec Okyere was murdered by unknown assailants at his Mannet Gardens residence at Spintex Road on March 13, 2014.
Kese posed a question on the anniversary of Okyere’s death on Twitter, writing: “4 years of sadness and doubts. Who killed my manager?”
Background
Former manager of rapper Kwaw Kese, Fennec Okyere was murdered by unknown assailants at his Mannet Gardens residence at Spintex Road on March 13, 2014.
Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bull Dog) was arrested months after the murder by the Homicide Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
Hanson is said to have threatened to killl Okyere after a heated argument on ‘Entertainment Review’ on Peace FM. He called the latter and threatened to send his boys to teach him a lesson after the program had ended.
Prosper Agblor, the then Director General of the CID claimed that there were series of threatening phone calls and text messages to Okyere from people believed to be connected to Hanson.
Police investigations revealed that a day before Okyere’s murder, he received a call from an unknown person. Okyere was found dead at his residence the next morning.
Hanson was subsequently charged as the prime suspect in the murder of Okyere.
The Accra Central District Court discharged Hanson in January 2018 for what it said was the prosecution been conspicuously absent in the matter.
“Prosecution not here; complainant not here, at the last hearing date, prosecution has been conspicuously absent. I have no option than to discharge you.” noted Worlanyo Kotoku, who presided over the court.

Kwaw Kese speaks against legalization of homosexuality

Rapper Emmanuel Botchway popularly known as Kwaw Kese has added his voice to the many Ghanaians who have strongly voiced out against the legalization of homosexuality in the country.
Kwaw in a tweet opined that it is morally wrong for any individual to engage in same sex. He argued that the romantic attraction, sexual attraction between members of the same sex should never be condoned in the country.
According to him, even animals do not engage in such act so he cannot fathom why humans would decide to be homosexuals. When questioned if the government should legalize same-sex, the boss of MadTime Entertainment quizzed if marijuana is lawful in the country.
“It’s a morally wrong for a man to sleep wit a fellow man. Even animals don’t do such. Have they finished legalizing marijuana ???” he said in a tweet Monday morning.
Abodam’s comment comes after President Nana Addo’s utterance on Aljazeera that legalizing homosexuality in Ghana is not on the agenda.

Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese yearning to collaborate with me – SP Kofi Sarpong

Gospel artiste SP Kofi Sarpong has revealed that controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and rapper Kwaw Kese have been longing to record songs with him.

The Police officer cum musician, who has slammed critics of secular artistes, said, most secular musicians compose good songs that educate as well as entertain million and should not be maligned as evil.

“Anytime Kwaw Kesse meets me, he asks me ‘uncle, when are we both going to collaborate on a song?’ Shatta Wale also meets me and says we have to do something. They understand what we do so, we must also understand what they do,” he emphasized

“I don’t think gospel artistes play their own songs when making love with their partners,” he stated

SP Kofi Sarpong said these at the press launch of his forthcoming ‘SP Kofi Sarpong Live in Concert’ festival slated for May 28 at the National Theatre.

The concert will feature gospel musicians like Gifty Osei, Nacee, Cece Twum, Joyce Blessing, Abena Ruthy, Francis Amoo, Koda and a gospel artiste from the United Kingdom.

Hip life artiste Kwaw Kesse has revealed that he owns a $2.5 million mansion he built from the scratch. He made this claim on TV3’s rejuvenated ‘Music Music’ program on Saturday, March 25.

He says his new house is worth $2.5million compared to some other artistes, who are bragging about buying million-dollar mansions. “I’ have a $2.5 million mansion I built from the scratch,” he said.

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and Fuse ODG had earlier claimed that they own mansions worth US$1 million. The ‘Abodam’ artiste also likened himself to the King of the Ashanti kingdom saying “I’m the King and I can liken it to the King of the Ashanti Kingdom who has so many sub chiefs.

So, my sub chiefs are the one who are making noise of being the King of the street.”
