Lauren Pisciotta, 36, who started working for West in 2021, first filed a lawsuit against him in June 2024 alleging she was sexually harassed and stalked.

In updated claims, which were filed this year, she accused West, also known as Ye, of sex trafficking, stalking, assault and rape.

West denies her claims, which he calls a “fantasy fiction”.

The civil case is due to return to court in the US next month, but Ms Pisciotta’s lawyer says his client is currently in hiding and is “afraid”.

Speaking to the BBC, Arick Fudali said Ms Pisciotta had now deleted most of her internet presence and is now “just sort of sitting around and hiding – letting this lawsuit play out”.

He added: “It’s really sad – she’s gone through a lot. She is suffering and has been suffering since she began working for Mr West.”

Ms Pisciotta started working for West in 2021 and first filed her lawsuit against the rapper on 3 June 2024 alleging sexual harassment, breach of contract and wrongful termination.

Earlier this month, an amended claim was filed alleging that six days later she became a victim of targeted “swatting”, which she claims West was organising.

Swatting involves the reporting of serious crimes at a specific location in order to prompt law enforcement to raid the site.

In Ms Pisciotta’s amended lawsuit, filed on 10 July 2025, she claims she was “bombarded with unwanted, harassing, and alarming” visits from the police. In one instance, she says the Palm Beach Sheriff’s office performed an armed raid at her property in Florida after receiving a report that Ms Pisciotta had killed her own mother.

Ms Pisciotta also claims that around this time she started to receive phone calls from individuals warning her not to pursue the lawsuit and that she would not “prevail” against West.

Ms Pisciotta alleges that during her time working for West she was repeatedly sexually assaulted and harassed.

On one occasion, while working on the DONDA album, Ms Pisciotta claims that West came to her hotel room and demanded to use her shower. The document details that after some time, he came out of the bathroom and dropped his towel, revealing his penis, and she claims he raped her orally.

Ms Pisciotta also claims that West frequently engaged in sexual activity with Yeezy – the company founded by the rapper – staff members in the office and that he would record the encounters and send them to her. She says he would frequently text her about sexual fantasies involving her.

Ms Pisciotta also claims that West “exposed his employees to extreme displays of racism and antisemitism on a daily basis.

“Ye constantly used derogatory, antisemitic slurs, and interrogated employees he suspected were Jewish. On multiple occasions, Ye demanded that his assistants and other employees draw swastikas in the workplace,” the lawsuit says.

West responds

In an interview with the BBC’s Fame Under Fire podcast, Mr Fudali highlighted that some of West’s posts on social media appear to admit some of her claims.

Mr Fudali told presenter Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty: “He [West] has a song called Heil Hitler. He calls himself a walking ‘Me Too’. He admits to sexually harassing his employees. You see all that he’s done publicly, you can imagine what he has done in private.”

West’s social media posts do not directly admit guilt to any legal claims and his team strongly deny the allegations.

Mr Fudali says all of West’s tweets will be brought up as evidence during his deposition with the rapper and shown in court during the trial.

The BBC asked West’s team for a response to the claims. His team did not reply but West’s spokesperson previously told USA Today: “Lauren Pisciotta’s amended complaint is the fourth version she has advanced. Each new revision contradicts the others.”

It goes on to call the latest claim a “breathless new instalment of fantasy fiction [that] discredits all past, present and future testimony”.

The spokesperson added: “We stand ready to annihilate Ms Pisciotta’s tall tales before a jury − an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming.”

The Jesus Walks rapper recently made headlines after Bianca appeared nearly nude at the 2025 Grammy Awards, wearing a clear mesh outfit. Shortly after, Kanye sparked outrage with an anti-Semitic rant on X, drawing widespread backlash.

Following these controversies, a self-described “Hollywood fixer” and “sex tape broker,” Kevin Blatt, claimed he would expose Kanye. Blatt shared a shirtless photo of Kanye sitting on a bed, allegedly a screenshot from a 2012 sex tape involving the rapper and a woman in Las Vegas.

“Remember that sex tape I helped take off the market for you in 2012 with that hooker in Vegas?” Blatt wrote on Instagram. “This JEW didn’t forget” about what he described as Kanye’s “horrible performance.”

Blatt hinted at publicly revealing details of the tape, writing on Threads, “I’ve been giving it some thought, and I think this Jew should go public with the details of the sex tape I intercepted for Kanye the Nazi right before he met Kim K. It’s a hell of a story and one of the worst performances I’m sure of his troubled life.”

Kanye has yet to respond to Blatt’s claims, but in his 2016 song Real Friends, he referenced paying $250,000 to retrieve a stolen laptop containing explicit footage.

Amid the sex tape controversy, Kanye and Bianca have denied split rumors. A spokesperson for the couple stated, “Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together. Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumors in the tabloid press.”

The Mirror US has reached out to Kanye’s team for comment.

In a lawsuit, Lauren Pisciotta alleges the star sent her lewd texts and performed sex acts while on the phone with her, according to US media.

She claims she was fired in 2022, but that a $3 million (£2.4 million) severance package was never paid.

The BBC has contacted West’s lawyer for a response to her allegations but has yet to receive a reply.

The lawsuit was first reported in the US by TMZ and later confirmed by Rolling Stone, The Wrap and US Weekly, which says court papers were filed on Monday in the US.

The BBC has so far been unable to verify the filing.

According to the documents, Pisciotta was primarily supporting herself via an OnlyFans profile in 2021 when she met West.

She says he hired her to work on the first season of his Yeezy women’s fashion line, and they ended up collaborating on three tracks from his Donda album (Pisciotta does not have any formal credits on the record, however).

West subsequently hired Pisciotta as his personal assistant, with an annual salary of $1 million (£780,000), on the condition that she was available “24-7”. She says she agreed to the terms.

According to her lawsuit, West was initially comfortable with her continuing her OnlyFans business. However, in 2022, he allegedly stated that he wanted Pisciotta to be “God-like” and asked her to delete her account in exchange for a further $1 million.

After she closed the account, she claims she was bombarded with explicit text messages from West, including pornographic videos.

Pisciotta also claims he masturbated while talking to her on the phone and that, on one occasion, he pleasured himself in front of her after “trapping” her in a private room on his plane.

Around September 2022, she was promoted to Chief of Staff for his various companies, but was abruptly fired soon afterwards, her lawsuit claims. Her severance package was allegedly never paid.

In addition to sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination, Pisciotta is also suing West and his Yeezy businesses for fraud, unpaid wages, and intentional infliction of emotion distress.

This is not the first time the rapper has been accused of lewd behaviour.

Last November, multiple employees of his Yeezy fashion line told Rolling Stone he had played pornographic films during staff meetings, and showed an intimate photograph of his then-wife Kim Kardashian in job interviews.

West has not responded to the allegations at the time, and has maintained his silence ever since.

In the past, the star has referred to a “full-on pornography addiction” that “destroyed my family”.

He once told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that it had played a major role in his life since childhood.

“For me, Playboy was my gateway into full-on pornography addiction,” he said. “My dad had a Playboy left out at age five and it’s affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life.”

The star has already faced two other lawsuits this year.

In April, he was accused of racial discrimination and harassment by a former security guard at his now-closed school, the Donda Academy.

Benjamin Deshon Provo claimed he had faced discrimination because he is Muslim and was ordered to cut his dreadlocks or be fired.

West has yet to respond to the allegations.

In February, the star was also sued by the estate of Donna Summer for using a sample of her song “I Feel Love” without permission. The case was later settled out of court.

The musician was one of the most successful and prolific rappers of the 2000s and 2010s, with multi-platinum hits like Gold Digger, Stronger and All Of The Lights.

However, his recent career has been beset by controversies. Most notably, his lucrative contract with Adidas was terminated in November 2022 over antisemitic comments West made on social media.

Despite that, the star returned to the top of the US charts earlier this year both with the hit single Carnival, and its parent album Vultures.

The spat has been escalating since last year, when Cole referred to the trio as “the big three”, a description that Lamar forcefully rejected.

West, a long-time adversary of Drake, has now added his two cents, on a remix of Lamar, Future and Metro Boomin’s song Like That.

“I can’t even think of a Drake line,” he said, attacking the star’s lyrics.

West also criticized Drake’s record deal with Universal Music, suggesting he’d sold the rights to his music for “little bag” (money).

“Lifetime deal? I feel bad for [you],” he said.

West’s remix was premiered on Justin Laboy’s radio show The Download – and opened with the line “Yo Dot, I got you,” a reference to Lamar’s nickname, K-Dot.

He only played a snippet of the song and, although a fuller version later leaked online, it was unclear whether that was genuine or fan-made.

West and Drake’s animosity can be traced back to a dispute over a beat in 2018 – and culminated in an infamous song by Pusha T (and produced by West), where he revealed the existence of Drake’s son Adonis.

The latest war of words started on last year’s Drake and J Cole collaboration First Person Shooter, where the “big three” claim originated.

The seemingly innocuous comment went unremarked for months. Then, in the middle of March, Lamar delivered a fiery verse on Like That, declaring that there was no “big three – it’s just big me”.

He went on to call Drake and Cole’s best verses insubstantial (“a light pack”) and claimed he was the Prince to Drake’s Michael Jackson.

Two weeks later, J Cole offered his own reply to Kendrick’s verse, in a track called 7 Minute Drill. He called the Pulitzer Prize winner’s last album, Mr Morale and The Big Steppers, “tragic” and said the star had “fallen off” his A-game.

He later apologised, appearing to back out of the feud, but Drake doubled down, with a song called Push Ups (Drop And Give Me 50).

Amidst a lot of comments about Lamar’s height, he also suggested the star was a record label puppet who’d been forced to add verses to commercial pop songs by Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift.

“Pipsqueak, pipe down, you ain’t in no Big Three,” he added.

Lamar appears to be uninterested in responding, but Drake seems determined to provoke a response.

On Friday, the Canadian star released a new track called Taylor Made Freestyle – in which he suggested Lamar was unwilling to engage in the feud because he was in cahoots with Swift, and didn’t want to overshadow (or be overshadowed) by her album release.

“If you ’bout to drop, she gotta approve/This girl really ’bout to make you act like you not in a feud,” he goaded: “Yeah, shoutout to Taylor Swift/Biggest gangster in the music game right now.”

The song also appeared to feature AI vocals from Lamar’s rap hero Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg. Their verses also tried to prompt a response from the star.

“Kendrick we need ya, the West Coast saviour/Engraving your name in some hip-hop history,” advised the AI Shakur.

“World is watching this chess game, but are you out of moves?” admonished the AI Snoop Dogg.

Of course, all of this is good for business. Both Like That and Push Ups are among the Top 40 most-played songs on Spotify.

The ten-year-old, who made her music debut on the Vultures 1 song “Talking,” attended the Vultures listening party at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, March 10.

Ye brought the venue to a standstill at one point so that North could make an announcement. “Hi, it’s Northie, and I’ve been working on an album for a long time,” she revealed to the crowd. “And it’s called Elementary School Drop Out.”

Ye and Kim’s two other children, 6-year-old Chicago West and 4-year-old Psalm West, were also in attendance.

The album’s title is an obvious nod to her father’s debut album, The College Dropout. It remains to be seen when the record will be coming out, especially as her father is busy working on the second and third instalments of Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign, but she’s off to a strong start in the music industry after making her Billboard Hot 100 debut with “Talking” last month.

She is one of the youngest acts to ever chart, peaking at the No. 30 spot.

As for the long-teased Vultures 2, which missed its initial release date like its predecessor did multiple times, Ye suggested he and Ty were still cooking up in the studio.

He’s also revealed that Vultures 2 won’t be available on traditional streaming services, like Spotify and Apple Music. “Was talking with the team about how to release the next album. Like James Blake said streaming devalues our music. We sell albums on Yeezy.com,” Ye told a fan page over DM recently.

“I got 20 million Instagram followers. When five per cent of my followers buy an album. That’s one million albums sold, that’s 300K more than the biggest album last year.”

During an interview with James Corden, the 43-year-old reality TV star admitted that finding a husband is difficult for her.

“There’ll be moods where I’m just like, ‘You know what? I understand my life is really big and I understand it takes a really, really, really special, unique person to want to deal with that,’ ” she shared in the Thursday, February 15 episode of SiriusXM’s “This Life of Mine with James Corden” podcast. “I think my life is really fun and whoever comes in my life will have a really good time, but it’s a lot.”

The “American Horror Story” actress noted that she’s not in a rush to find new love. “I’m not lonely, so I’m good,” she revealed.

“I have my kids, I have work, I have my family, but it would be nice to share your life with someone, but when you do, it’s such a big [commitment], I don’t take that lightly.”

James later asked “The Kardashians” star if she wanted her potential husband to be someone famous, to which the mom of four responded, “They would just have to really somehow understand what this life is.” As for what “this life” refers to, that might include her four children and ex-husband Ye, who has been known to attack Kim’s ex Pete Davidson.

When the SKIMS mogul and the “Saturday Night Live” alum dated between October 2021 and August of 2022, the “Vultures 1” artist repeatedly slammed Pete. The rapper even attacked the comedian in two bizarre music videos for his track “Eazy”.

Later on during the new interview, Kim shared a list of things that her potential spouse has to have. “Accountable for actions. Takes accountability. Good teeth. Can hold their own. I don’t have to babysit all the time,” she said. “I mean, just a good genuine person that’s driven and has their own motivations in life to, the list is so long.”

Kim is currently rumoured to be dating Odell Beckham Jr. “They’re getting serious,” a source told Us Weekly recently. “Odell’s personality is much more private” than Kim. They explained that Kim and Odell are “trying to figure out the next steps.”

The insider further claimed that the alleged couple is considering taking the previously private relationship public. “Their relationship has been blossoming longer than people thought – for like a year,” the insider spilled.

On Sunday, a pair of videos from the documentary surfaced online of Ye having a phone conversation about giving songs away, industry plants, the Illuminati and more. 

In one video, the Chicago legend is sitting on a couch going through a magazine and speaking on Corey Gamble being a part of the CIA and claiming Cardi B is an “industry plant” that took over Nicki Minaj’s spot.

“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” Ye said. “She don’t write her raps. She just there to sound as ignorant as possible and then make songs like, ‘fuck them and get some money.’ She has literally replaced Nicki Minaj, purposely that they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do, and she has no idea what the fuck is going on. She thinks it’s just a blessing from the universe. It ain’t no blessing from the universe.”

However, it’s possible for people to change. Hours after the footage leaked, Cardi shared an interview Ye did with Jason Lee in 2022 in which he spoke about how much he loves her and that he always believed in her. Shortly after the Lee interview, Ye and Cardi joined forces on the 2022 single “Hot Shit” with Lil Durk.

In another leaked video, Kanye is on the phone with Scooter Braun and speaking on getting out of “this G.O.O.D. Music shit now.” The Donda rapper stated he needed to end his record label because he’s “great,” questioned why he gave Pusha T Daytona and Teyana Taylor KTSE, and criticized Nas for being off-beat on “Cops Shot the Kid” off their collaborative effort, NASIR.

“The fuck I’m doing giving ‘Wanna Love You’ to fucking Teyana? What the fuck am I doing giving that Daytona album to Pusha? What the fuck I’m doing bro?,” said Kanye. “That shit was three Dark Fantasies that I gave away. ‘Cops Shot the Kid,’ Nas rapping all god-damned offbeat on it and don’t even want to shoot a video. Then shoot the video and don’t even tell me.”

He continued, “These muthaf*ckers don’t appreciate me. These muthaf*ckers are trying to use me. I’m the greatest muthaf*cking artist living, and I can do everything.”

Kanye also added that he wanted to do his own festival instead of performing at others and has since done everything that he claimed people didn’t think would happen.

He also said he knew what he was saying could put his life in danger but wouldn’t end up like XXXTENTACION, who was known for speaking out against the industry.  

“I know my life is on the line when I’m talking, but I know ain’t nobody going to touch me because I’m too high profile. I’m not [XXXTENTACION], so y’all can’t take me out,” he continued. “But I bet you I get off my muthafucking publishing, I bet you I get my muthafucking festival, and I bet you I get off of Universal, and I bet you all I won’t talk to Adidas again.”

The explosive footage is just one of many things that have been leaked over the last few weeks. Most of the leaks include song snippets, unreleased music videos, and more.

According to legal documents obtained by Billboard, the 46-year-old artist filed a lawsuit Wednesday over the unauthorized distribution of his music.

The complaint, which was submitted by attorney Gregory K. Nelson of Weeks Nelson, alleges the individual(s) behind the popular account @DaUnreleasedGod_ has violated copyright laws by leaking various Ye tracks throughout 2023.

The material in question includes a collaboration with DJ Khaled, footage of a Donda listening party, as well as 20-plus songs, such as “We Did It Kid,” “Shy Can’t Look,” “NASDAQ,” and “Mr. Miyagi.”

Kanye and his legal team have not identified the person or entity behind the account, but believe the user is someone who has worked with Ye.

If that is the case, the individual would’ve been required to sign a confidentiality agreement before obtaining access to the unreleased tracks. They, therefore, breached the contract by leaking the aforementioned material on social media.

As reported by The Blast, Ye’s lawyers will amend the suit to include the defendant’s name once they are identified. 

“The Defendant, without authorization, license, or permission from Ye, improperly leaked, published and distributed multiple Listed Compositions including but not limited to the following found on ‘Instagram’ and ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter),” the suit reads.

“… Ye’s musical composition, with its distinctive arrangement and unique elements, constitutes a trade secret due to its economic value, secrecy, and the efforts taken to safeguard it.”

According to the complaint, the unauthorized distribution caused “substantial harm” to Kanye’s “work, reputation, and potential income.”

It also alleges that he “suffered significant financial losses and damages” as a result of the leaks, which took place between March and August 2023.

Kanye is suing for misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract.

He is reportedly seeking attorney fees and other associated costs, as well as an injunction “enjoining and restraining Defendants and their agents, servants, employees, representatives, affiliated companies and other business entities, successors, assigns, and those acting in concert with them or at their direction, from further misappropriation, disclosure or unlawful use of the trade secret or confidential information in any manner or any right in and to the Listed Compositions, including without limitation by directly or indirectly reproducing, downloading, distributing, communicating to the public, uploading, linking to, transmitting, publicly performing, or otherwise exploiting in any manner the Listed Compositions.”

Ye demanded not only attorney fees and associated costs but also a permanent injunction and any other Court-directed relief, including “enjoining and restraining Defendants and their agents, servants, employees, representatives, affiliated companies and other business entities, successors, assigns, and those acting in concert with them or at their direction, from further misappropriation, disclosure or unlawful use of the trade secret or confidential information in any manner or any right in and to the Listed Compositions, including without limitation by directly or indirectly reproducing, downloading, distributing, communicating to the public, uploading, linking to, transmitting, publicly performing, or otherwise exploiting in any manner the Listed Compositions.”

Late last year, the controversial rapper’s former business manager Thomas St. John said he had been unable to find West for weeks to serve him a lawsuit, triggering fears that he was missing.

However, the rapper was reportedly then spotted at a church service earlier this month, which has cast doubt on the ongoing rumours that he’d gone AWOL.

Now, West’s former legal team are reportedly trying to access Ye by publishing newspaper ads in Los Angeles newspapers in an attempt to remove him from their client roster.

According to legal documents seen by AllHipHop, the Greenberg Traurig Law Firm is taking a “multi-prong approach” to find West.

“Publication of the Withdrawal Order’s contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order,” the documents read.

“Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order.”

Greenberg Traurig previously represented West against Ultra International Music Publishing, but the firm dropped West as a client following last year’s antisemitism controversy.

Earlier this month, St. John asked the courts for more time to locate the rapper in order to serve him a lawsuit.

The former business manager is suing West $4.5million (£3.7million) in damages, allegedly owing to West ending their partnership abruptly.

He claims that the rapper agreed to pay him $300,000 (£247,197) a month for his ‘Donda’ roles but stopped paying him after three months of an alleged 18-month contract. West is yet to have commented publicly on the matter.

Elsewhere, in December 2022 reports surfaced online that Kanye West-inspired neo-Nazi memorabilia was reportedly being sold online, however here is no indication that West has been involved in the design or sale of the merchandise.

Opening up about her concerns on Monday’s episode December 26 of the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast, she said she didn’t think it was “fair” to put any man in that position.

“There’s a part of me that is like, ‘Oh my God, is everyone gonna be scared because I don’t have the easiest ex?’ I don’t think that’s fair for me to ever put someone in a situation or bring a new person in who could be super innocent. Then there’s a side of me that’s like, ‘Why would I ever have to live that way?” the reality TV star explained.

Mum-of-four Kim, who shares children North, nine, Saint, seven, Chicago, four, and three-year-old Psalm with Kanye, 45, also cried on the podcast over the struggles of co-parenting with the rapper, but said she knows she will find her “forever” partner.

She said, “It’s really f****** hard. I don’t know if I’ll get married again, but I’ll have my forever partner. I know that. He’s coming, absolutely. I’m at peace, and I’m going to have fun until that happens.”

Kim finalised her divorce from Kanye at the end of November after seven years of marriage. She has since dated comic Pete Davidson, 29, who was targeted with threats and abuse online from Kanye, before the couple split in August this year.

Kim, 42, said at the time of the abuse, “Divorce is difficult enough on our children, and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

Kanye has been slated since his split from Kim over the production of his “White Lives Matter” tops and anti-Semitic outbursts that have seen him cut out of deals with some of the world’s biggest fashion brands.

The US rapper, who now goes by the name Ye, posted a series of erratic tweets – one of which appeared to show a symbol combining a swastika and a Jewish star.

Twitter’s new boss Elon Musk was asked by one user to “fix Kanye”.

West had “violated our rule against incitement to violence”, Musk tweeted.

“Account will be suspended,” Musk wrote in a Twitter post.

Also on Thursday, during an interview with US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and with his face covered in a mask, West praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and ranted about sin, pornography and the devil.

West has for years caused controversy both on- and offline with anti-Semitic and racist remarks.

West was initially locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts after posting anti-Semitic messages in October. Both platforms removed West’s posts – which accused rapper Diddy of being controlled by Jewish people – saying the star had violated policies on hate speech.

These posts came in response to a backlash against his show at Paris Fashion Week, where he wore a t-shirt carrying the slogan “White Lives Matter”.

The Anti-Defamation League branded his phrase “hate speech” and attributed it to white supremacists, who began using it in 2015 in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Earlier this year, West was suspended from Instagram for 24 hours in March after using a racial slur in reference to comedian Trevor Noah.

In 2018, singer Will.i.am led a backlash against West after he claimed the enslavement of African Americans over centuries may have been a “choice” – remarks he later tried to clarify.

His latest Twitter ban comes hours after the right-wing social media platform Parler – which styles itself as a “free speech” alternative to mainstream platforms – said West could no longer buy the firm.

In a statement, Parlement Technologies said: “The company has mutually agreed with Ye to terminate the intent of sale.”

The firm – which runs the much smaller platform, popular with conservatives and the far right – said the decision was made in mid-November.

“Parler will continue to pursue future opportunities for growth and the evolution of the platform for our vibrant community,” the firm said in its statement.

Musk took control over Twitter in October and immediately embarked on a series of radical changes within the social media giant – including lifting the bans on controversial accounts.

He has clarified that he had no role in bringing West back on Twitter, saying the account was restored before he acquired the social media platform.

West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder years ago and has publicly spoken about his challenges with his mental health.

However, medical experts and people who share West’s condition have warned that mental health problems do not go hand-in-hand with anti-Semitism.

The “Donda” artist, who is currently on a media tour after announcing his 2024 presidential bid, even stormed out of the interview while discussing his anti-Semitic remarks.

During the interview, Ye compared himself to Martin Luther King. “I thought I was more Malcolm X but I found out I’m more MLK,” the rapper, who was joined by far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, said in the Monday, November 28 episode of “Timcast IRL”.

“As I’m getting hosed down every day by the press and financially, I’m just standing there.”

Tim agreed as he said, “They have been extremely unfair.” Ye later asked what the host meant by “they,” assuming that he could not say it on camera.

Nick Fuentes then responded with his anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, though Tim appeared not to buy them.

At one point, Ye decided to stand up and leave the set. Nick and Milo followed suit, and the trio didn’t return to the podcast.

Prior to leaving, Ye said, “To come in here – I feel like it’s a set-up to be like defending. I’m literally going to walk the F off the show.”

He continued, “If I’m sitting up here having to, you know, talk about, ‘You can’t say it was Jewish people that did it.'”

The star, who has legally changed his name to Ye, posted a video of his campaign logo to social media, alongside the caption Ye 24.

He also claimed to have asked Donald Trump to be his running mate.

West previously ran for president in 2020, but that campaign flopped, attracting a meagre 70,000 votes.

His latest claims came in a video posted after West was spotted at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago golf club earlier this week, accompanied by Nick Fuentes, a prominent white nationalist.

West said his request for a running mate left the former president, who recently launched his own re-election campaign, “most perturbed”.

In a video titled Mar-A-Lago Debrief, West claimed: “Trump started basically screaming at me at the table, telling me I’m going to lose. Has that ever worked for anyone in history?”

As he continued to make anti-Semitic comments online and in television interviews, the 45-year-old was dropped by his talent agency, while fashion companies including Gap, Adidas and Balenciaga said they would no longer work with him.

The musician later commented that he had lost “2 billion dollars in one day”.

Earlier this week, Rolling Stone magazine reported claims that West had used “porn, bullying and mind games” to create a “toxic environment” among Adidas employees working on his Yeezy brand shoes.

The company said on Thursday it had launched an independent investigation into the claims.

When West ran for president in 2020, he announced his campaign too late to appear on the ballot in at least six states.

He held only one rally, in which he broke down in tears as he discussed abortion, and funded two television adverts. In the end, he was only listed as a candidate in 12 states.

For his 2024 bid, the rapper suggested he had enlisted alt-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos as his campaign manager.

A former editor at the right wing publication Breitbart, Yiannopoulos was largely shunned by mainstream conservatives after a video emerged in 2017 of him appearing to condone paedophilia. He said the comments were “gallows humour” and stated his “disgust” at the sexual abuse of minors.

Most recently, Yiannopolous worked as an intern for Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Posting from an iPhone on Sunday, the artiste formerly known as Kanye West first tested that he was still unblocked—his account had been temporarily suspended and restored at the end of October, which Musk said was not his decision—before following up with “Shalom : )”.

Ye’s earlier suspension had been due to an anti-Semitic tweet. The hip hop artiste last month agreed to buy social media platform Parler, embraced by conservatives as an alternative to Twitter.

Musk responded positively to Ye’s initial tweet, tweeting “Don’t kill what ye hate, Save what ye love.”

Twitter’s new leader, who’s also chief executive officer of Tesla Inc. and SpaceX, spent the weekend polling his followers on the platform whether to restore the access of Donald Trump, the former U.S. president who was permanently suspended following the January 6 breaching of the US capitol.

Some 52% responded in the affirmative and Trump is now clear to return—though he’s responded saying that he’ll stick to his own social network, Truth Social.

Musk’s latest tweet depicts Twitter as a drug that Trump will be sorely tempted to return to.

The billionaire Twitter owner’s courtship of the network’s controversial figures—beside himself—threatens to further alienate advertisers, who have been wary about associating their brands with the service in recent times.

The company added it had “no intention” of working with the rapper and designer who goes by the name of Ye.

It comes after Adidas, the German sportswear giant, cut ties with Mr West over anti-Semitic remarks he made on social media.

The BBC has contacted Mr West’s representatives for comment.

In a statement Skechers said Mr West had arrived at its offices with a party and was “engaged in unauthorised filming”.

The party were escorted from the building after a brief conversation, it said.

The brand said: “We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech.”

It added: “We again stress that West showed up unannounced and uninvited.”

Mr West, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, has been involved in a string of high profile spats with big brands in recent months and many have cut ties.

On Tuesday, Adidas’s ended its Yeezy brand collaboration with Mr West saying it does “not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech”.

His products will be pulled from sale with immediate effect, said Adidas. The collaboration was put under review last month after the rapper showed a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt design at Paris Fashion Week.

Days later, the rapper posted anti-Semitic comments on his Twitter account which led to his account being blocked. Mr West responded to his suspension by rejoining Twitter and saying he would go “death con 3 On Jewish people”, earning him a second disbarment.

Cutting the partnership, which has been hugely successful, means Adidas will make a net loss of £217m in 2022, it said.

Brands cut ties

JP Morgan and fashion house Balenciaga have also parted ways with the rapper over his remarks, while he has been dropped by his talent agency. Gap, which ended its tie-up with Mr West in September, is taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap products from its shops and online store.

Film and television production company MRC said on Monday it will not be airing its recently completed documentary on the rapper.

Mr West has not apologised for the anti-Semitic remarks and on 15 October defended them on US podcast Drink Champs.

The scandal has hit the rapper’s income and he has lost his position in Forbes magazine’s list of billionaires. The magazine estimates the loss of the Adidas partnership has cut Ye’s net worth from $1.5bn (£1.3bn) to $400m.

“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the athletic company said in a statement Tuesday. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

Adidas announced its partnership with the Yeezy fashion designer was “under review” in early October after West, 45, wore a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt to a fashion show — and then continued to wear it.

“After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review,” Adidas shared in a statement at the time. “We will continue to co-manage the current product during this period.”

The company’s decision comes after celebrities, including West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, condemned West for his remarks.

West didn’t take to the company’s decision kindly, responding on Instagram, “F—K ADIDAS I AM ADIDAS ADIDAS RAPED AND STOLE MY DESIGNS.”

The rapper’s relationship with both Adidas and the rest of the fashion world worsened after he vowed to go “death con 3” on Jewish people. He was immediately banned from both Twitter and Instagram.

He later bashed “Jewish media” for silencing him online after he posted a screenshot of his text messages with Diddy in which the rapper wrote, “This ain’t a game. Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

Despite Adidas, Balenciaga and Vogue severing their relationships with West, the “Flashing Lights” rapper maintains he’ll never be cancelled.

“I ain’t losing no money,” he told TMZ, shrugging. “The day I was taken off the Balenciaga site, that was one of the most freeing days.”

He added, “We here, baby, we ain’t going nowhere.”

According to a news release obtained by The Times on Tuesday, Roxie Washington, the mother of Floyd’s daughter, will sue Kanye West (legal name Ye) for “harassment, misappropriation, defamation” and “infliction of emotional distress.” Click 2 Houston first reported the news.

The lawsuit comes just days after the “Donda” rapper made disparaging comments about the 2020 death of Floyd when Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pinned him to the ground for nearly 9½ minutes.

Floyd’s murder sparked the Black Lives Matter movement and global cries against police brutality.

Chauvin, who is white, kneeled on Floyd’s neck as Floyd repeatedly said he couldn’t breathe. In April 2021, Chauvin was convicted of murdering Floyd. Over the weekend, West questioned the cause of Floyd’s death.

“I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out,” West said during the weekend episode, which “Drink Champs” has since removed from its platforms. “They hit him with fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.”

West’s comments came after he attended the premiere of Owens’ Daily Wire documentary, “The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM.”

“Kanye West stated malicious falsehoods about George Floyd to profit from Mr. Floyd’s horrendous death and his family’s trauma,” the news release alleged.

Additionally, the attorneys for Floyd’s loved ones claimed that “Floyd’s daughter is being retraumatized by Kanye West’s comments and he’s creating an unsafe and unhealthy environment for her.”

“Kanye’s comments are a repugnant attempt to discount George Floyd’s life and to profit from his inhumane death. We will hold Mr. West accountable for his flagrant remarks against Mr. Floyd’s legacy,” said attorney Pat D. Dixon in a statement. The Witherspoon Law Group and Dixon & Dixon Attorneys at Law will represent Floyd’s loved ones.

Just days before the lawsuit was filed Tuesday, attorney Lee Merritt, who previously represented Floyd’s family, tweeted on Sunday that a legal response to West’s comments was imminent.

“While one cannot defame the dead, the family of #GeorgeFloyd is considering suit for Kanye’s false statements about the manner of his death,” Merritt said. “Claiming Floyd died from fentanyl not the brutality established criminally and civilly undermines & diminishes the Floyd family’s fight.”

The rapper made controversial comments about Floyd’s death nearly two years after he allegedly offered financial support to Floyd’s daughter. In June 2020, West reportedly donated $2 million to the families of Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.

As part of his financial aid, West allegedly started a college savings fund for Floyd’s daughter, TMZ reported at the time.

West has experienced pushback for his recent barrage of damaging claims. Instagram and Twitter have pulled the plug on his accounts. His upcoming appearances on HBO’s “The Shop” have been scrapped, and his relationship with clothing brand Adidas remains on the rocks.

West also has come under fire for wearing his “White Lives Matter” shirt at Paris Fashion Week and for antisemitic conspiracy theories shared in leaked footage from his two-night interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The star had his Instagram account suspended at the weekend after accusing rapper Diddy of being controlled by Jewish people.

The message played into a long-standing anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.

West responded to his suspension by rejoining Twitter and saying he would go “death con 3 On Jewish people”, earning him a second disbarment.

Both platforms removed West’s posts and said the star had violated policies on hate speech.

Fashion show controversy

The incident comes after West drew criticism for wearing a “white lives matter” T-shirt during Paris fashion week.

The slogan also appeared during his YZY fashion show, modelled by Selah Marley, the daughter of Lauryn Hill and granddaughter of Bob Marley.

The Anti-Defamation League has called the phrase “hate speech” and attributed it to white supremacists, who began using it in 2015 in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

West’s stunt immediately drew criticism from his peers.

Among them was Diddy, who posted an Instagram video saying he “did not rock” with the slogan.

“All lives matter – but that Black Lives Matter, don’t play with it. Don’t wear the shirt. Don’t buy the shirt. Don’t play with the shirt. It’s not a joke,” he said.

West then posted what appeared to be a text exchange with Diddy to his Instagram, in which he told the rapper: “I didn’t like our convo. I’m selling these tees. Nobody can get in between me and my money”.

When Diddy asked him again to stop, West replied: “Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

The post appeared to reference the anti-Semitic theory that a secret cabal of Jewish people is conspiring to control the world’s media, government and banks.

After having his Instagram account disabled, West took to Twitter, posting a photo of him with Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg.

“Look at this Mark. How you gone kick me off Instagram?” he wrote.

He followed up with a message saying: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also.

“You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” he added.

The tweet has since been removed, and West’s account has been locked.

West, who has changed his name to Ye, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder several years ago and has spoken publicly about his mental health challenges.

He has a long history of erratic behaviour and making controversial statements, but his latest outbursts threaten to damage his business interests.

Adidas said it was reviewing its partnership with the star after his appearance at Paris Fashion Week, and an interview where he expressed dissatisfaction with how some of his recent Adidas shoes had turned out.

“After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review,” the clothing company said in a statement.

“We will continue to co-manage the current product during this period.”

T-shirt was ‘funny’

Last week, West gave a lengthy interview to Fox News host Tucker Carlson, addressing everything from his religion and his relationship with late fashion designer Virgil Abloh to his anti-abortion stance and his political aspirations.

Asked about the “white lives matter” t-shirt, he told Carlson it was “funny” and “the obvious thing to do”.

“The answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do,” he said.

He also recalled a conversation he had had with his father about the statement.

“I said, ‘I thought the shirt was a funny shirt; I thought the idea of me wearing it was funny.’ And I said, ‘Dad, why did you think it was funny?’ He said, ‘Just a Black man stating the obvious.'”

When Carlson asked why the t-shirt had provoked such a backlash, West said that it was because he was not acting in a way the media approved of.

“Because the same people that have stripped us of our identity and labelled us as a colour, have told us what it means to be Black,” West said.

The company did not mention the controversy but said “successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values”.

The rapper and fashion designer responded on Instagram, claiming the firm “stole” his designs.

That post now appears to have been deleted.

Adidas told the BBC it had made the decision to put the partnership under review after “repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation.”

A spokesperson for the German sportswear company also said that the “Adidas Yeezy partnership is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry’s history.”

In his Instagram post, Mr West also used a strong expletive, adding “I AM ADIDAS.”

Earlier this week, he was criticised after he presented a collection at Paris Fashion Week that included T-shirts with the slogan “White Lives Matter”.

The phrase Black Lives Matter, which represents opposition to racism and police brutality, was widely used after George Floyd, an unarmed black man, was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis in the summer of 2020.

Vogue’s Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who is global fashion editor-at-large at the fashion magazine, was among those that criticised West over the T-shirts, calling the move “hugely irresponsible.”

In response, Mr West responded by lashing out at Ms Karefa-Johnson and posted photographs of her mocking her appearance to his 17.9 million followers.

In a statement, Vogue said it “stands with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson”.

“She was personally targeted and bullied. It is unacceptable. Now, more than ever, voices like hers are needed and in a private meeting with Ye today she once again spoke her truth in a way she felt best, on her terms.”

The almost decade-long partnership between Adidas and West has been strained for some time.

At the centre of their collaboration is a hugely popular range of sneakers – known as Yeezy – which cost hundreds of dollars, with new releases often selling out within minutes.

In June, he accused Adidas of making a shoe that looked similar to the distinctive Yeezy design, but was not part of their deal.

Adidas said it will continue to co-manage the partnership while the review is underway.

The announcement from Adidas comes less than a month after West’s lawyers sent a letter to fashion chain Gap to say he would no longer work with the firm.

He accused Gap of failing to honour terms of the deal, including by failing to open standalone stores for his Yeezy fashion label.

The Donda rapper admitted in a post that the demise of the longest-serving British Monarch reminded him about the fragility of life.

In a saddening post on social media, the rapper, 44, paid tribute to Her Majesty after it was announced on Thursday evening she had died aged 96 while at her residence in Balmoral Castle, Scotland.

The ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, Kanye, talked about how the Queen’s death further encouraged him to give up his grudges.

He wrote: “Life is precious. Releasing all grudges today. Leaning into the light”, alongside two striking portraits of Queen Elizabeth wearing her crown during her reign.

In the past weeks, the rapper has slammed his ex-wife for allegedly not giving him a say about where to send their kids to school. He also bemoaned about the fact that his children were being exposed to porn in the entertainment industry.

The fashion guru has also hit out at fashion giants Gap and Adidas in a rant shared on Instagram.

The billionaire rapper turn fashion icon has been posting about the company with whom he has a 1-billion-dollar deal, but according to Kanye West, Adidas had left him out of the decision-making aspect of the business despite him bringing in a large amount of revenue for the company.

Adidas has yet to respond to Kanye West, who has been attacking various members of upper management of the company.

Some insiders say that Kanye is attempting to bully the board and shareholders into bringing him into upper management, despite his agreement only being one as a designer.

Kanye West has also alleged that Adidas and Gap, with whom he has separate agreements, have stolen his designs and tried to make copies in China. He says he is taking the companies to court over the allegations.

On Tuesday, he continued his harassment of the company and shared that he is getting support from several other big-name celebrities who are ready to boycott the company.

In the last two days, both Swizz Beatz and Diddy joined the war, with the latter threatening Adidas that if it doesn’t do right by Kanye, he’ll call for a boycott.

On Tuesday, Diddy shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with Kanye where he offered to help the artist.

“Please can send me something I could post in support of you! I never wear Adidas again for the rest of my life if they don’t make you right!!!!” Diddy wrote to Kanye, who responded with two sentences, “Praise God and Love you.”

Diddy also shared a caption where he called out Adidas for profiting from black culture and its treatment of Kanye.

“Since the era of Run-DMC, @Adidas has always used Hip Hop to build its brand and make billions off of our culture,” he said. “BUT WE ARE MORE THAN JUST CONSUMERS NOW, WE’RE THE OWNERS. @KanyeWest and YEEZY are the reason Adidas is relevant to culture. WE KNOW OUR VALUE! I’m done wearing Adidas products until they make this right!! We have to support each other!! Everybody repost this please!!,” Diddy said.

A day before, Swizz Beatz also said that Adidas was wrong in its treatment of Ye.

“I usually mind mv business but this is DEAD WRONG! If we let them do this to @kanyewest it will happen to us also! This man created this groundbreaking innovation and it should be respected as a creative ! YE is only asking for his work to be respected and not stolen that’s not crazy to me !!” he said.

“We not buying these @adidas you’re supposed to be original do the correct thing please,” he added.

Last month, Kanye called out Adidas for its Adilette 22 slide sandals which closely resembled his Yeezy slides.

Since then, he has made several post-then-delete on Instagram where he accused both Adidas and Gap of not honoring their agreement with his Yeezy brand. Kanye West went on to say that he planned to open his first Yeezy brick-and-mortar store in Atlanta and plans to move nationwide as he insinuated that he planned to pull his Yeezy brand from Adidas and Gap.

In September, he also began to post memes and mock various Adidas executives but specifically SVP Daniel Cherry III.

Adidas has not responded to any of the claims by Kanye.

Kanye first started working with Adidas in 2013 with his Yeezy footwear. The shoes became widely popular and brought in a large percent of the company’s total revenue, with $1.7 billion earned in 2021.

Kanye’s deal with Adidas sees him having 100% ownership of the copyrights of the shoes and 15% in royalties on sales. The deal runs until 2026.

“Don’t let Kris make you do playboy like she made [Kylie] and Kim do,” he began in an Instagram post on Thursday, addressing Victoria Villarroel, Kylie Jenner’s former assistant.

“Hollywood is a giant brothel Pornography destroyed my family I deal with the addiction, and Instagram promotes it. Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago,” he continued.

The “Donda” rapper was talking about Kris Jenner — who manages Kylie and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian — supporting her daughters as they shot for Playboy magazine in September 2019 and 2007 respectively.

This was one of the many posts the rapper shared on Instagram, where he called out his former mother-in-law, as well as Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg and Charlamagne tha God, who he has feuded with in the past.

In his first post, West greeted “Hilary” and “Mark” telling them that they were “gonna take me off Instagram.”

He also declared, “My kids going to Donda / They not going to [their school] / Charlemagne the God [sic] and Kris / get your motherf–king popcorn.”

West — who shares North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago with Kardashian — has previously disagreed with his four kids going to their school, which he also picked out.

In a second post, he shared a screenshot of his text messages where an unidentified person (presumably Kardashian) asked him “to stop.”

“No, we need to talk in person, you don’t have a say so of where the kids go to school. Why you get say say? Cause you half white?,(sic)” he responded.

Amid their conversation, she told him that her mom was asking him to “please stop mentioning” her name. Since 2019, West has been publicly slamming Kris for allegedly trying to “lock him up.”

“I’m almost 67 years old and I don’t always feel great and this stresses me to no end,” Kris seemingly begged him, according to Kardashian, to which he replied, “Y’all don’t have so so over my black children and where they go to school.”

He told the SKIMS mogul that “they will not do playboy and sex tapes” and to “tell your Clinton friends to come get” him.

“I’m here,” he concluded his message.

But that wasn’t the end as Ye proceeded to slam people who believed he was “spiraling” due to his tirade.

“Anybody that says I’m spiraling when I express the undeniable truths is a sheep,” he wrote in yet another post, telling people to “shut the f–k up and worry about you’re [sic] own kids.”

“I obviously am dealing with wars at the highest levels of control and discrimination based on the level that I’m operating,” he said as he compared himself to an orchestra conductor.

“Oh Ye is crazy is basic as f–k at this point. I’m simply right. I know girls who sell pussy that don’t agree with how my daughters are displayed.”

Ye — who stated on social media that he was “the kids’ father” — claimed that he had been “driven crazy before,” something he wasn’t going to let happen again.

“It’s not up to Calabasas or Hulu where my kids go to school. I’m not the crazy one,” he said, adding, “I won’t stop until I have a say so on my kids no matter what it legally takes.”

Back in March, West claimed that his custody agreement with Kardashian was unfair after slamming her for letting their oldest daughter, North, have her own TikTok account.

“I just got off the phone with Kim,” the Yeezy designer said in an Instagram video at the time. “I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing. I said, ‘It’s never again.’ I am her father. I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family and the media tries to promote something. I said, I am not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, by Disney. I have a say-so.”

He continued, “And when people say, ‘they’re gonna use this [against] you in court,’ I didn’t even have a say-so whether or not they went to [their school]. Most men do not — there’s no such thing has 50-50 custody in society today. It always leans toward the mom.”

He additionally shared a third screengrab of a text message from “Monica,” who told him she wanted to stop doing OnlyFans and “do fashion consulting full time.”

West also shared various posts where he was calling out Adidas and Gap, two entities that he’s recently slammed.

He first called out Adidas for making decisions without him in terms of the distribution of his Yeezy shoe collection and then Gap for allegedly copying his Yeezy and Balenciaga collection with them.

After four hours of his initial post, Ye’s Instagram had been completely cleared out.

Kanye West appears to be overjoyed that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have called it quits. After the couple broke up following a nine-month romance, Ye, 45, celebrated the news on Instagram on Monday morning (August 8).

He shared a fake New York Times front page article with a headline reading, “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28.” Kanye added no caption to his scathing post, which is his only post on his Instagram page currently.

After news of Kim and Pete’s split broke on Friday, Aug. 5, speculation emerged that the SKIMS founder and Kanye were back together, especially since Ye was so forward in his attempts to reconcile with Kim. But a source close to Kim confirmed to HollywoodLife that the famous exes are “moving ahead with the divorce which will be finalized soon.” The insider added that Kim, who filed for divorce from Ye in Feb. 2021, “is not getting back with him.”

Kim and Kanye will continue to co-parent their children North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. Their co-parenting relationship was improving while Pete was away in Australia filming a new movie. “Kim and Kanye are amicably co-parenting now and it has everything to do with Pete being away in Australia,” the source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY late in July, prior to Kim and Pete’s breakup.

“Kanye is currently living at his house in Malibu and has been spending a ton of time with the kids,” the insider added. “He has been over to Kim’s house on multiple occasions for dinner with the kids and he feels comfortable coming over to her place because Pete is not there.”

The Atlanta native has unfollowed his “Monster” collaborator after her “clown” shade at the Essence Festival.

As captured in a screenshot, the Yeezy designer is no longer following the “Anaconda” hitmaker as of Monday, July 11. Nicki, meanwhile, still follows Ye on her own personal account.

While it’s unclear when Ye clicked the unfollow button, his move comes a week after Nicki appeared to throw shade at him during her set at the Essence Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Taking the stage at the Caesars Superdome on July 1, she performed her Lil Baby-assisted single “Do We Have a Problem?” before launching into fan favourites such as “We Go Up”, “Did It On ’em” and “Beez in the Trap”.

However, when her DJ cued up “Monster”, Ye’s 2010 single where Nicki delivered a guest feature, she stopped the show.

In a clip of the show that night, Nicki said, “Wait, hold up, hold up! Hold on, hold on!” She went on telling the audience, “A monster though! A monster though! But we don’t f**k with clowns,” seemingly referring to the 45-year-old emcee.

While Nicki didn’t mention Ye’s name during her set at the festival, many believed that it was aimed that the “Hurricane” rapper since he recently hopped on Cardi B‘s new song “Hot S**t”, which also features Lil Durk.

Nicki and Cardi have been feuding since 2017, when the latter broke out on the rap scene and was instantly compared to the “Bang Bang” rapper.

The tension culminated in an altercation at New York Fashion Week in 2018, during which Cardi reportedly approached Nicki about “spreading lies” and Cardi threw her shoe at Nicki.

The rapper is accused of using part of Marshall Jefferson’s 1986 hit Move Your Body at least 22 times on his track Flowers.

Jefferson’s publisher Ultra International Music Publishing filed a complaint at New York’s US District Court on Wednesday.

Kanye and his label have not commented on the lawsuit.

House music pioneer Jefferson hails from Kanye’s hometown of Chicago and performed at Glastonbury last weekend.

His song Move Your Body was released by Trax Records in 1986 and peaked at No. 34 on Billboard’s Dance Singles Sales chart.

“I’ve been sampled thousands of times. There is a right way and a wrong way to go about it,” he tells Radio 1 Newsbeat.

“Getting done by another artist, a black artist, a fellow Chicagoan without acknowledgment is disappointing.”

The lawsuit says Kanye and his team had discussions with Jefferson’s representatives where they admitted to sampling Move Your Body in Flowers.

But it claims the rapper did not take a licence – which would have meant Jefferson was paid for using his track.

“West advocates for artists’ rights with one hand, yet has no shame in taking away rights from another artist with the other,” it says.

The lawsuit says Flowers is reportedly about Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, whose petition to end their marriage was approved in March.

An attorney for Ultra International, which owns the rights to Jefferson’s song, said they had nothing to add and the lawsuit spoke for itself.

They are asking for profits and damages to be determined at a trial or maximum statutory damages of $150,000 per infringement.

Kanye – who has legally changed his name to Ye – released Donda 2 in February exclusively through his Stem Player, a handheld device that allows users to isolate and recombine song parts.

The lawsuit says he claimed he had earned $2.2m (£1.8m) from Stem Player sales in just one day after the release.

Kano Computing Ltd, a British company that developed the player with Kanye and is also named in the lawsuit, has not said anything publicly about it.

Kanye’s representatives and his label Universal Music Group, which is not named in the legal action, have also not commented.

The rapper was sued in May by a Texas pastor called David Paul Moten for allegedly sampling one of his sermons without permission.

He has also been sued in the past over samples used on Yeezus tracks New Slaves and Bound 2 but both were settled out of court.

The musician swept all the awards from the Gospel categories at the event held on Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in the USA.

Ye took home awards for ‘Top Gospel Artist’ and ‘Top Christian Artist’.

He beat Carrie Underwood, Elevation Worship, for King & Country and Lauren Daigle to win the Top Christian Artist award.

He also beat gospel legend CeCe Winans, Elevation Worship, the legendary Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music to win the Top Gospel Artist award.

His 2021 critically acclaimed album ‘Donda’ named after his mother also earned him the other awards.

The album won the ‘Top Gospel Album’ and ‘Top Christian Album’ at the Billboard Music Awards ceremony.

One of the tracks on the album ‘Hurricane’ won the ‘Top Gospel Song’ and ‘Top Christian Song’ awards.

Kanye West was the second most awarded artiste on the night.

Pop singer Olivia Rodrigo led the night with seven wins.

Drake came next with five awards namely Top Artist, Top Male Artist,Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Male Artist and his ‘Certified Lover Boy’ snagged the Top Rap Album.

Ye is being sued by Bishop David Paul Moten, who claims Kanye filled out the song “Come To Life” with audio of Moten’s own religious speech.

In the document, obtained by TMZ, Moten claims his sermon is used for 70 seconds of the 5-minute, 10-second track … which is more than 20% of the song.

Moten says his voice and sermon are used in the song intro and looped throughout the song … and he says it’s the latest example of Kanye and the music industry “willfully and egregiously sampling sound recordings of others without consent or permission.”

The pastor is also suing UMG Recordings, Def Jam Recordings and G.O.O.D Music and he’s going after all of them for damages.

Variety confirmed the news shortly after West’s “Eazy” collaborator, rapper The Game, took to social media in a rant defending the multi-hyphenate as he faces scrutiny for harassing estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, cyberbullying Pete Davidson and using a racial slur while addressing “The Daily Show” host, Trevor Noah.

“The Grammys have at the last minute decided to pull @kanyewest from performing on the show as if we didn’t know it was coming,” The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, shared via Instagram Friday night.

“Could be because @trevornoah is hosting and there was a conversation held amongst his team & the academy that led to the decision or because Ye’s account was suspended just days ago for reasons unknown, especially in a world where all the negativities of the world can be found on the same app with no repercussions or suspensions,” the MC hypothesized.

“Speak your mind in this country for yourself, family or your people & you’re ostracized immediately & if you push them hard enough they will stop at no ends to try and put an end to you as a whole,” the Compton, Calif. native went on.

“I can’t sleep at night knowing I was quiet about issues burning holes in my heart or narratives incorrectly pushed by the mass agenda to create a mindset that the person at hand is crazy or has issues internally that are beyond repair.”

While West will no longer be performing, the rapper’s 2021 album ‘Donda’ has been nominated for five awards, including Album of the Year.

News of his cancelled performance comes days after one critic began a petition to have Ye dropped as a headliner for this year’s Coachella Music Festival.

West violated the platform’s policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment, according to Meta.

He is restricted from posting, commenting and other actions for 24 hours and the company will take further action if necessary, the spokesperson said.

West posted a slur directed at Noah on Wednesday, after the talk show host had addressed the rapper’s treatment of his former wife Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend comedian Pete Davidson in a “Daily Show” segment Tuesday.

“You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous,” Noah said in the segment.

“But what she’s going through is terrifying to watch and shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”

In West’s post, since deleted by Instagram, he replaced the lyrics to “Kumbaya” with a racial epithet.

Prior to the removal of the post, Noah had responded by expressing his admiration for West as an artist and his sincere concern for him and his family.

According to Entertainment Tonight on March 4, a source claimed that Davidson is actually humored by the recently released visual.

“He finds the fact that Kanye included a cartoon version of him in his music video hysterical,” the source said, referring to Davidson. “He is almost flattered by it all because it is so ridiculous to him.”

And apparently, the insider also said that Davidson “is not threatened by Kanye in any way, shape or form.” Davidson actually reportedly takes Yeezy’s “social media posts, lyrics and music videos about him with a grain of salt” as his relationship with Kim Kardashian appears to blossom.

The source also shared that Pete Davidson is “using this to grow in more ways than one including for himself and his relationship with Kim. He is turning all of the negativity into a positive thing.”

On March 2, Kanye dropped the visual for “Eazy,” The Game’s new joint featuring Ye, and in the video, not only does the Chicago rapper kidnap and bury Davidson, but he also plants rose seeds on the comic’s head, then waters the seeds, allowing the flowers to grow from Davidson’s head. Kanye then fills a truck with the roses, which could be symbolic of Ye having a truck full of roses sent to his now-ex-wife for Valentine’s Day.

Kim, who has been granted single status and is officially separated from Kanye, has reportedly grown closer to Pete amid her separation from Ye.

“Pete is so understanding and has made an extreme effort to put any of his emotions aside and just be a support system for Kim during this difficult time and transition,” a source explained to ET. “Pete has grown so much as an adult, man, public figure and partner through this process, even though he has unexpectedly been thrown in the middle of things, including Kanye’s rants and the publicity that followed.”

The source added, “Kim could not be more appreciative of Pete. They are growing astronomically as a result. This has been more of a positive, growing experience for them, contrary to the negativity that surrounds the situation.”

Meanwhile, the insider thinks Kanye is navigating the divorce in a spiteful manner.

“Kanye will never accept that she wants to fully separate herself from him and that Kim is on a totally different page,” the source told the outlet, adding that Ye “is just doing his thing” with Chaney Jones, the woman Ye is supposedly dating now.

As of March 2, Kim and Kanye were officially divorced.

JAY-Z remains on top of a list of hip-hop’s highest-earners from last year, as a new publication curated by former Forbes writer Zack O’Malley Greenburg revealed the ten biggest money-makers of the genre in 2021, placing the New York-born legend at the forefront.

According to the list, which was published independently on O’Malley Greenburg’s blog, JAY-Z earned a whopping $470 million in 2021, nearly doubling the list’s runner-up.

Of course, the artist formerly known as Kanye West makes his way to the #2 spot, earning a reported $250 million last year.

The post, which was supposed editorially through Vibe, also lists Diddy in the third spot, earning $75 million. 

Drake appears at #4, reportedly making $50 million in 2021.

At number five, Wiz Khalifa makes an appearance with $45 million earned last year.

Despite his tragedy at the end of 2021, Travis Scott also makes his presence on this list at #6, earning $38 million through various brand endorsements. 

DJ Khaled appears behind him with $35 million, whereas Eminem and J. Cole are neck-and-neck with $28 and $27 million respectively.

In the final #10 spot, there is a three-way tie between Birdman, Doja Cat, and Tech N9ne, who surely earned a lot of additional money from his viral collaboration with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. 

Baby, Doja, and Tech N9ne all earned a reported $25 million in 2021.

Yet he seems to not be prioritizing having his upcoming album, “Donda 2,” debut at No. 1 on any charts. Rather than be able to claim any bragging rights for streaming or sales when it comes out February 22, he’s deliberately limiting its listenership to one device … one that can only be purchased from him.

So how much will it cost you to listen to “Donda 2” later this month? About $230 — assuming you don’t already own a Stem Player, a handheld device that he began selling last fall, which he now says will be the exclusive platform, and hardware, for the forthcoming album.

The device can only be obtained through a single website, stemplayer.com, with a base price of $200, plus $10 for shipping plus taxes that in California work out to just over $20.

For an audience that has become accustomed to a base price of “free,” or modest monthly subscription fees that allow access to most of the world’s recorded music library, that three-figure fee may count as a hefty up-sell, especially if it’s a single new Ye album that’s being used as bait.

“Donda 2 will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player,” he announced Friday, adding for emphasis: “Not on Apple, Amazon, Spotify or YouTube. Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own.”

West is not just billing it as the sole way to hear “Donda 2,” but also selling it as a device that can “customize any song” and “split any song into stems,” so that users can take other tunes, as well as his, and isolate vocal, drum and bass tracks from one another, as well as save, play back and download distinct mixes that the listener has created.

Some music fans may be distinctly reminded of Neil Young’s ill-fated Pono player, which was advertised as offering the ultimate in high-def sound, not the ability to create distinct mixes. But Young never made it so you could only hear his new music on the Pono.

West is positioning this as his move to take back power from the big streaming services — including ones that he’s had exclusive deals with recently.

“I walked away from Apple right after having the most No. 1s in Apple history,” he wrote on his current choice of social media platform, Instagram, Friday. “Songwriters have been really hurt by streaming platforms. Some say I’m the only one who can make this change. So as the leading innovator in music of the past 20 years, I’m putting my own work on the line to change it.”

West seemed to be trying to disprove that the Stem Player is in any danger of falling to Pono-like disinterest by posting Instagram photos of just what kind of money he is raking in from sales of the device.

According to a Thursday afternoon IG post, in the last 24 hours, West had sold 6,217 units of the Stem Player, adding up to a gross of $1,359,262.69. “That’s faster than I’ve ever sold any T-shirt,” he wrote. “God has a plan. New frontier.”

Over the life of the device, since it first went on sale Aug. 25, 2021, net sales have added up to $8,628,505.32. By the standards of some of West’s other product lines, that may count as chump change — but the Stem Player received little publicity before today, and West clearly foresees these numbers skyrocketing now that he’s dangled “Donda 2” as bait and is making a show of boycotting streaming services for the first time.

“Everyone that is supporting our revolution is changing the game for all artist(s),” he wrote. “We no longer have to bow to people who don’t even truly care about music.”

West has not explained how this development might help other artists — and whether he thinks he’s leading the way for fellow performers to create their own devices, or whether he plans to ask others to make some of their albums Stem Player exclusives too, or whether he just believes he’s opening up a new frontier in general. What’s hard to avoid here is that, although last year’s “Donda” album already comes loaded onto the Stem Player and the sequel will somehow presumably be downloadable only to it as well, other releases that can be played through the device will mostly still come through the DSPs that West says he is out to disempower.

As for how to ability to remix or un-mix albums works, a demo video on the Stem Player shows four series of light-up panels on the handheld device, which the user can swipe — after first setting controls with some side buttons — to turns vocals, bass, drums and other music elements up and down.

“We currently have 67,000 available and are making 3,000 a day,” West noted, as part of his campaign to make the Stem Player’s numbers completely transparent.

One possibility the artist may have to face is that, however many Stem Players are sold as a result of the official exclusivity of “Donda 2,” the album could wind up being the most bootlegged album of all time, if fans decide they can’t absorb the $230 and don’t have ethical compunctions about illegally disseminating it. Even then, West may be able to claim a moral victory, if none of the proceeds are going into the DSPs’ pockets, even if that also means no streaming income going into his.

Fans have had mixed reactions to the Instagram posts, with some complaining about the high barrier to entry just to hear a new album and others happy that his steady stream of new IG posts about the device has replaced the more worrisome stream of all-caps posts about getting back together with Kim Kardashian and wanting to beat up Pete Davidson that caused his No. 1 trending on Super Bowl weekend.

West continues to claim that he turned down a $100 million offer for Apple Music to host the upcoming album exclusively, which Apple has not commented on. Earlier in the week, he posted that Tim Cook refused to personally meet with him, which was his reason for turning down the alleged deal.

“No one can pay me to be disrespected,” he wrote Friday, in making the claim about spurning Apple again. “We set our own price for own art.”

West has suggested that he will webcast a premiere performance of the album on the night of its release, February 22, as he did with several events leading up to the previous “Donda” album. Tickets for that show are now on sale via Live Nation. Little is known about what form that might take, except for one thing that seems fairly certain: It won’t be on Apple Music.

Late Friday, West posted a screenshot of a private text conversation, as is his wont, this one with someone identified as Randy from Live Nation. The exec is seen as having urgently texted West: “Ye, not sure you read the above, however, we are running out of time to pay the vendors for the load in. We need you to approve $2M NOW since the wire cut off is in 15 min. This show needs to be filmed!!!”

West responds, “Ok. I’ll cut the check since Apple pulled on their streaming deal.” It’s not clear from the context whether West previously had a deal with Apple to stream the concert that the company “pulled out of” after he started taking Apple on publicly in recent days, or whether that would have been part of the $100 million offer for exclusively hosting the new album that he has been saying he rejected.

West captioned the image of his text exchange with the Live Nation exec by writing: “I love how Apple only sees artist in only one way. They’ll sit with Daniel Ek but won’t meet with Ye. I remember me and Virg were with Daniel Ek in the club in Stockholm and he told me he could tell I get more pussy than him.”

After she’s accused of copying the reality TV star’s look, the actress has taken to her Instagram Story to set the records straight.

Recently, the Gotham Award-winning actress uploaded a photo of her wearing a blue chest mold. While the avant-garde piece was right up her alley, many outlets pointed out that the outfit was similar to the one worn by Kim in a KKW Fragrance ad from a few weeks ago.

Responding to the allegation that she possibly copied from Kim’s fashion catalog, Julia posted a screenshot of Page Six’s headline which read, “Julia Fox channels Kim Kardashian in high-fashion breastplate” along with an explanation that she did it first.

“FYI I wore this on Halloween 2021 and I was supposed to be a slutty Smurf. I forgot to post it,” the “Uncut Gems” star wrote over the image.

The Yeezy fashion designer told Jason Lee of “Hollywood Unlocked” that, despite his ongoing divorce from Kardashian, he allegedly did her the ultimate favour and got the tape back.

“I went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night,” West, 44, said during the interview, which was released on Monday. “I met this man at the airport, then got on a red-eye, came back [and] delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning.”

West further claimed that the Skims founder was so relieved at the sight of the laptop that she broke down in tears.

“She cried when she saw it. You know why she cried when she seen it on the laptop? Because it represents how much she’s been used,” the rapper said. “It represents how much people didn’t love her, and they just saw her as a commodity.”

A spokesperson for Kardashian confirmed there was a laptop but denied any existence of explicit content.

“The computer and hard drive collected were supposed to contain the original video and any unseen footage. After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip,” read the statement.

“Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists. After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter [and] focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform.”

A source also told Page Six that Kardashian was “very emotional” when her estranged husband returned with the computer and hard drive.

“Kim was and still is truly grateful to Kanye for getting it back,” the insider shared. “The tape caused her a lot of pain and continues to haunt her to this day. Even though they are no longer together as a couple, they remain aligned with the same concerns about how this content that continues to be used against her will affect their four young kids in the future.”

Kardashian, 41, rose to fame after her and then-boyfriend Ray J’s sex tape leaked in 2007. Shortly thereafter, she and her family launched “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

In September 2021, the “One Wish” crooner’s former manager Wack 100 said on a podcast he had “part two” of the infamous sex tape, but the KKW Beauty mogul’s attorney Marty Singer quickly shot down the claims as a desperate attempt for attention.

Wack, who has been spotted with West recently, claimed the second sex tape he allegedly had in his possession was “more graphic and better than” the one that was famously released. In a bizarre twist, Wack allegedly offered it up to Kim’s estranged husband so he could sell it as an NFT.

“I would never give it to anybody but Kanye,” he said. “That’s the mother of his children.”

Hours earlier, Ye took to social media to call out the Kardashians as he tried to find the location of Chicago’s party.

“I’m just wishing my daughter a public happy birthday. I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was,” he said in a video while he’s in a car.

The Grammy-winning hip-hop superstar, who recently referred to himself “Young Putin,” is reportedly planning to travel to Russia to meet his highest idol.

According to Billboard, West’s confidant and strategic adviser, Ameer Sudan, is planning the jaunt, which include the gospel-themed Sunday service concert, where President Vladimir Putin will be invited as a special guest.

“Russia is going to be ‘a second home’ for Ye,” Sudan said. “He will be spending a lot of time out there.”

The appearance will be West’s first performances in the former Soviet Union.

Aside from performing, the rapper will explore business and musical opportunities in the country with billionaire real estate developer Aras Agalarov (known as the “Trump of Russia”), and Agalarov’s musician son, Emin.

This comes as Kanye has pleaded to keep his family together. While donating Thanksgiving meals at the L.A. Mission last month, he alluded to his new real estate purchase.

“I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I’m out the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation,” he said.

Kanye also owns a house in nearby Malibu, which he purchased for $57.3 million in September. In October, he listed his Wyoming ranch for $11 million.

Despite his attempts to win back his wife, Kim recently filed to be legally single from Kanye amid their divorce proceedings. The Skims mogul, who is now dating Pete Davidson, is also seeking to drop “West” from her last name and restore her maiden name.

Kanye, 44, and Kim, 41, were seen front row at the Spring/Summer 2022 Louis Vuitton menswear presentation in Miami on Tuesday evening with their daughter North, 8, sitting in between them.

Louis Vuitton announced that Abloh’s final menswear collection in Miami will “pay tribute to the life and legacy of a creative genius.”

The show was held at the Miami Marine Stadium, where Kanye led a Sunday Service event two years ago to close out Art Basel. Attendees took a ferry to the venue about two hours before the presentation began.

On Sunday, PEOPLE confirmed Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton and founder of Off-White, died at age 41 after a two-year battle with a rare form of cancer called cardiac angiosarcoma.

In a statement posted to Abloh’s Instagram page by his family, they revealed he underwent “numerous challenging treatments” all while continuing his work in fashion and art.

“Through it all, his work ethic, infinite curiosity, and optimism never wavered,” the family said. “Virgil was driven by his dedication to his craft and to his mission to open doors for others and create pathways for greater equality in art and design.”

Abloh’s friendship with Kanye dates back well over a decade, and he connected with Kim through the rapper. Though Abloh was not formally educated in fashion (he earned a degree in civil engineering and master’s in architecture), he landed an internship at Fendi alongside Kanye in 2009. From there, the duo’s collaboration took off.

Abloh later became the creative director for Kanye’s creative agency Donda, before starting his first brand, Pyrex Vision, in 2012. He then founded his streetwear label, Off-White, in 2014 before being named the first Black artistic director for Louis Vuitton menswear in 2018.

As his fashion career took off, Abloh still stayed close with Kanye and Kim. Also a successful DJ and producer (he notably art directed JAY-Z and Kanye’s 2011 album Watch the Throne for which he earned a Grammy nod), Abloh took the stage to DJ at Kim and Kanye’s engagement celebration at AT&T Park in San Francisco. When the couple tied the knot, Abloh was by his friend’s side as a groomsman.

After Abloh’s passing, Kim penned an emotional tribute for the designer on Instagram. “God doesn’t make mistakes. I know that but I still can’t help but ask why. Why Virgil?! Why him so soon? it’s simply hard to understand why. I have a hard time understanding why so many pure souls were taken away so early,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum said.

“Virgil- you were always so gentle, kind and calm,” she continued. “You somehow made time for everyone. We also talked about your superpower of calmness often. You always gave so much of yourself to the world because you wanted it to be doper. This one is hard to process. I can’t even believe I am writing this… We will miss you so much Virgil and love you so much.”

Kanye dedicated his Sunday Service to his longtime friend after learning the news of his death.

“In loving memory of Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Donda,” Kanye wrote in a message that remained on the site after the event.

During the service, West’s choir delivered an emotional rendition of Adele‘s hit single “Easy on Me” from her new album 30, featuring a revised section of the song. For the first verse, the choir performed a modified set of lyrics. “I know your love flows like a river, and I could wash myself in it forever,” they sang. “I know there is hope in these waters, but I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning in my sin.”

The chorus‘ lyrics were also tweaked: “Go easy on me, father. I am still your child, and I need a chance to feel your love around.”

The late artistic director for Louis Vuitton and Off-White founder passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

The 41-year-old died of cancer, according to a tweet by luxury group LVMH.

Many high-profile personalities and celebrates have shared their condolences with the family, including rapper Kanye West.

 The service was held hours after Abloh’s family announced on Instagram that the late icon had died from a rare and aggressive form of cancer called cardiac angiosarcoma.

The choir delivered an emotional rendition of Adele’s hit single ‘Easy on Me’ from her new album 30 with the message “In loving memory of Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Donda,” on the site, which remained after the event.

According to Vogue, Virgil Abloh and Kanye West, both Chicago natives, began working together in 2002. Through a solid partnership, the pair collaborated on various projects, including Kanye’s 2011 joint album with JAY-Z called Watch the Throne which led to a Grammy nomination for Abloh.

A statement on his official Instagram account read:

“We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Virgil Abloh, a fiercely devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Shannon Abloh, his children Lowe Abloh and Grey Abloh, his sister Edwina Abloh, his parents Nee and Eunice Abloh, and numerous dear friends and colleagues…

The photo comes just hours after rumours started surfacing that the two rappers met up and squashed their beef.

DJ Trauma, Dave Chappelle’s tour DJ, posted and deleted a photo of Drake’s massive mansion to his Instagram Stories.

“Wow, Drake has a big house,” he captioned the photo. “Who would’ve guessed? Just witnessed Drake & Kanye’s reconciliation last night. What a night for hip hop.”

As REVOLT previously reported, earlier this month, the Donda spitter made a video plea to Drake so they could end their beef to come together to get Larry Hoover, co-founder of Chicago’s Gangster Disciples gang, freed from prison.

“I’m making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake,” he said while standing next to J. Prince.

“Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest. I’m asking Drake, on Dec. 7, to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year, live in Los Angeles with the ultimate purpose being to free Larry Hoover.”

Ye added, “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.”

A few days later, Larry Hoover Jr. also called on Drake to end the feud, saying that they “need togetherness and peace in this hip hop community.”

Not much is known about what Ye and Drake spoke about, but the two did spend time inside Drizzy’s Toronto mansion with Chappelle, who gave a speech calling the reunion “impressive.”

On Monday, the 44-year-old rapper’s request to officially change his name to Ye was granted by the Los Angeles Courts and he also debuted a bold new ‘do.

According to court records obtained by ET, his request to change his name from Kanye Omari West to Ye — which has been his nickname for years — was approved on Monday by the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.

He filed to change his name on August 24, citing “personal reasons” in the documents.

On Monday, he seemingly alluded to his name change with an intricate new haircut. He posted a picture of the back of his head, captioning it with the Japanese yen symbol.

It’s been a busy weekend for Ye, who performed at the wedding of Géraldine Guyot and Alexandre Arnault —  the second oldest son of LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault — on Saturday in Italy.

Famous guests at the wedding included JAY-Z and Beyoncé. Questlove shared a snippet of Ye performing his 2010 hit, “Runaway,” onstage in a black mask, a loose-fitting suit jacket and gloves.

He was also snapped being escorted through an airport in Venice wearing a green mask, a Balenciaga jacket, black jeans and boots. 

Although he’s changing his name, a source told ET in August that his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian West, isn’t.

“Kim isn’t planning on dropping West from her last name,” the source said. “Kim and Kanye still think of themselves as a family unit and Kim wants her kids to feel and know that.”

However, their divorce is definitely proceeding. A source told ET earlier this month that she’s keeping their $60 million home in Hidden Hills, California, in the split.

“Kanye and Kim are moving forward with the divorce, even though recent signs have pointed to a reconciliation,” the source said. “Kim and Kanye are in a very good place, but they aren’t getting back together.

According to the source, the rapper agreed to give her their family home, which is just minutes from her family, in an effort to not disrupt the lives of their four children — 8-year-old North, 5-year-old Saint, 3-year-old Chicago and 2-year-old Psalm.

“Kanye agreed to give Kim the house because it’s close to her family and they didn’t want to uproot the kids from their routine,” the source said. “Kanye has told friends he’d give Kim whatever she wants, as he loves her and knows he’ll be fine financially. The two have had a very amicable divorce and remain very close.”

After Kanye shared the picture of his new hairstyle, many are wondering what it means, while others are busy trolling the Donda singer’s rather bizarre look. 

A few hours ago today, October 18, 2021, Kanye, now known as Ye, shared the above picture on Instagram. 

He simply wrote in his caption, “¥”, while revealing his new hairdo.

For the unversed, ¥ is a currency sign used for the Japanese yen and the Chinese yuan currencies when writing in Latin Scripts. 

The haircut hasn’t been given a name and neither did the rapper explain why he chose the given style. But, patches of missing hair on his head have fans wondering if he’s keeping well as it seems strange to them.

Kanye has yet again become a subject of trolls and memes on Twitter as his new hairstyle seems to have left people in splits. 

But, many of his fans have urged others to not make fun of the rapper by pointing out the fact that the strange haircut could be a result of a mental breakdown. One user has even compared it to Britney Spears’ infamous meltdown when she shaved off her head.

One tweeted, “Isn’t that the exact haircut Britney gave herself that wound her up in conservatorship?”

Another added, “People need to stop making fun of #KanyeWest. The man has bipolar, he is mentally ill. Weird masks, name changes, and terrible haircuts are a sign he’s having a manic episode and needs help/med management.”

According to a leaked text conversation allegedly between the rapper and an unnamed engineer, the former fired the latter for being late to a studio session.

According to the entertainment news blogger, the conversation was leaked after the engineer’s iCloud was hacked.

The messages began with Ye texting the engineer at 9:34 A.M. “Good morning. Let’s work,” the Yeezy designer allegedly wrote to the engineer.

However, two hours apparently went by without a response from the engineer. The person, who was saved under “KW,” later followed it up by texting, “You’re fired. Go home.”

The recipient then finally responded, “I’m really sorry. I have no excuse I set an alarm for 7:30 a.m. And for whatever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me I woke up at 11:08 to missed calls and I got dressed as fast as I could Lou was already on his way to get boogz and they just got here.”

The engineer continued to explain his tardiness, “I didn’t call back right away cause I was in panick [sic] trying to find a ride. I know this is unacceptable… I’m sorry.”

Kanye, however, was allegedly not taking the explanation as he replied, “Stop texting. Go find God.”

People have quickly taken to social media to share their two cents on Kanye’s alleged response to the engineer, with many finding his words ‘Go find God’ hilarious. “I’m sorry but ‘Go find God’ is freaking hilarious! I’m going to start using that,” one person commented on the leaked text messages.

Another echoed, “Stop he’s sooo dry, I’m in tears lol.” A third was baffled, asking, “why he gotta bring God into it.” Someone else shared what he would’ve told Ye if the rapper said that to her/him, “If Ye told me to ‘Go Find God’ I’d simply say ‘you first’ bc HUH.”

West, a notorious perfectionist, has spent weeks putting the finishing touches on the much-delayed Donda, his 10th studio record, which is named after his late mother.

He held a listening party in his hometown of Chicago. It was the third such promotional session the rapper, 44, had held for the album, but the first two came and went without Donda’s arrival.

West built a replica of his childhood home at the Soldier Field stadium, inviting almost 40,000 fans to the venue.

The event, which started almost two hours late, also offered on-site vaccinations and featured a cameo from Kardashian West, who attended with their four children.

She appeared in a Balenciaga wedding gown during No Child Left Behind, the final song of the night.

Kardashian West filed for divorce in February after almost seven years of marriage.

While the previous listening events failed to result in Donda’s release, West’s team insisted before Thursday that it would finally arrive after the party.

After keeping fans waiting in Chicago, the mercurial man of the hour emerged from the replica house to repeated utterings of Donda while a collage of pictures and videos of his mother appeared in black-and-white on a giant screen.

West was accompanied by two musicians who have recently been engulfed in controversy – shock rocker Marilyn Manson, who has denied multiple allegations of sexual assault, and rapper DaBaby, who was criticised for homophobic comments made at a music festival.

The latter apparently replaced Jay-Z on one of the Donda tracks.

His estranged wife, Kim Kardashian also joined the award-winning rapper on stage. She wore what appeared to be a wedding dress and veil as she reunites with the father of her four children at the Soldier Field in Chicago.

Jaws dropped on Thursday night when the 44-year-old rapper set himself ablaze towards the end of his latest event to promote his yet-to-be-released 10th studio album named after his mother, Donda West.

Sitting within a replica of his childhood home, the Jesus Walks rapper was consumed by flames as an inferno began around him, with a surprised audience looking on in awe according to Daily Mirror.

The Grammy Award winner then calmly stepped outside of the make-shift house as the fire continued, adorned in protective gear.

As the dad-of-four made his way across the stage, workers equipped with fire extinguishers rushed to his aide and put out the flames covering his body.

Kanye’s show with fire wasn’t the only shocking event to happen on the stage of his latest listening party. The rapper reunited with soon-to-be ex-wife Kim as he performs tracks from his highly anticipated new release, Donda.

The reality TV star surprised the audience as she joined her one-time partner outside the mock-up of his childhood home dressed in a white wedding dress.

In confusing scenes, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West re-created their 2014 nuptials as she appeared during the final song of the night, No Child Left Behind, sporting a stunning Balenciaga Couture dress.

While many would take this as a sign the former couple has reunited, sources have revealed that they are not back together and still going ahead with their pending divorce.

Kanye also shared the stage with controversial musician DaBaby – after the song by Kanye’s friend and long-time collaborator Jay Z was removed from the album due to a clash between them.

On the stage on Thursday night, DaBaby seemed to address the controversy, rapping: “I said one thing they ain’t like and they threw me out like garbage.”

Many of Kanye’s fans are waiting for his album release.

He cited “personal reasons” in the court documents filed in Los Angeles.

It comes almost three years after the mercurial music star, fashion designer and presidential hopeful tweeted about changing his name, after releasing an album titled Ye.

At the time, he referred to ‘being formally known as Kanye West’ before announcing: “I am YE.”

As well as being an abbreviation of his current name, the 44-year-old has previously said the new moniker has religious significance for him.

“I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means ‘you,'” West said in 2018, discussing his album title with radio host Big Boy.

“So I’m you, I’m us, it’s us. It went from Kanye, which means the only one, to just Ye – just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything.”

The star is due to release his next album, named after his mother Donda, imminently, although it has already been delayed a number of times.

He is also in the midst of a divorce from Kim Kardashian, and has expressed an intention to run for US president in 2024 after attracting 60,000 votes in 2020.

In exclusive images obtained by DailyMail.com, Kanye can be seen taking a romantic stroll with Irina, 35, in Provence, France, where they are staying at a luxury 600-acre boutique hotel together, named Villa La Coste.

Tellingly, the loved-up pair were spotted on Tuesday which happened to be the rapper’s 44th birthday. The same day, Kim, 40, posted a tribute to him on social media, writing: ‘Happy Birthday. Love U for life!’

Rumors of the pair’s romance began late last month, with claims that Kanye was ‘secretly’ dating the Russian supermodel, who shares a child with actor Bradley Cooper.

In the pictures, the duo can be seen enjoying their getaway surrounded by the beautiful idyllic countryside with the father-of-four even stopping to take pictures of Irina, as they appeared to be very comfortable around one another.  

DailyMail.com has learned Kanye and Irina arrived at the hotel on Sunday, staying for three nights before departing around lunch time on Wednesday. 

The rapper is believed to have hired out the luxury space, which was closed to the public during their stay.

During their vacation, the couple could also be seen taking snaps together near the Giant Crouching Spider sculpture by Louise Bourgeois at the Château La Coste Art Centre. 

France has always been a favored destination for the Yeezy star, who has spent extensive time there with his estranged wife Kim – having whisked her off to Paris when they first began dating in 2012. 

Kim famously sat front row at Kanye’s runaway show during Paris Fashion Week in March 2012, which amplified the huge buzz surrounding their relationship at the time.

Then in 2014, ahead of their lavish nuptials in Florence, Italy, Kim and Kanye had an extravagant pre-wedding party at the Palace of Versailles in Paris. 

The night before Kanye’s birthday sighting with Irina, Kim posted an Instagram story of herself opening a bottle of French wine from Bordeaux, with the mysterious caption: ’67, ’01 or nothing! If you know you know!’

It would seem that Kanye is already extremely fond of Irina, having chosen to spend his special day with the gorgeous model in a place that he holds so close to his heart.

Far from an odd pairing, Irina and Kanye are no strangers to one another, having been connected for more than a decade now. 

Back in 2010, the Sports Illustrated cover star was a featured player in West’s Heaven-inspired Power music video, where she portrayed an angel. Specifically, Shayk sported a revealing gold getup and a pair of CGI angel wings.

Just two years later, the Russian-born beauty put her modeling skills to the test as she graced the runway for West’s Fall/Winter fashion collection at Paris Fashion Week. 

Rumors began to swirl last month when an anonymous tipster wrote in to the gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi, claiming: ‘Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk aka Bradley Cooper’s baby mama.’ 

‘After further looking into this, I don’t know if “dating” is the right word, but there is perhaps some interest there.’

Seeming to double down on earlier ‘dating claims,’ another tipster insisted to DeuxMoi that Irina and Kanye ”Def dating.’  

Another link between the pair occurred as recent as last month, with Irina having sported a DMX shirt designed by Kanye in collaboration with Balenciaga.

Meanwhile, it’s no wonder that Kanye and Irina appeared serene and relaxed while on their stroll on Tuesday, having been pampered at the luxury hotel and spa in Provence. 

Situated halfway between the historic town of Aix en Provence and the famous Luberon Nature Park, the boutique hotel is described as being ‘set in the midst of the Provencal landscape, in the heart of the biodynamic vineyard Château La Coste, an international destination for art, architecture and natural beauty.’ 

The property features 28 Villa Suites, surrounded by gardens, herbs and flowers and each opening onto a spacious terrace offering expansive views over vines and valley, with suites ranging from €1,250-€1,550 per night.

That’s small change for Kanye, with his reported 1.8 billion wealth, and he is believed to have hired out the whole establishment for himself and Irina.

Famously, the runway model was romantically involved with actor Bradley Cooper, whom she shares four-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with. 

Irina and Bradley began seeing each other in 2015 and moved quickly with their relationship, as they welcomed Lea two years after they initially met. 

Although the two were often spotted together in public over the next few years, their partnership came to an end in 2019.

Cooper and Shayk have remained on good terms, and the actor moved to New York City in order to be closer to his daughter and former girlfriend. 

Prior to beginning a relationship with the A Star Is Born director, she was in a high-profile relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo for several years.

Kanye’s nearly seven year marriage to Kim Kardashian came to an end in February, with the reality TV sensation filing for divorce.

According to People, the Stronger rapper filed his response for divorce in early April, where he asked for joint legal and physical custody of their children.

The estranged pair share daughters North, Chicago, and sons Saint, five, and Psalm, two.

The source also stated that, despite any rumored tension between Kim and Kanye, their divorce proceedings are going ‘smoothly.’

They continued: ‘Kim and Kanye are getting along. They have both stayed true to their commitment to make the best situation for the kids.

‘Kim is very happy that they have managed to keep things calm,’ the source claimed, adding that Kardashian thinks West is ‘a good dad’ and that she wants him ‘to be able to spend as much time with the kids as he wants.’

The insider added that Kim ‘seems happier’ ‘for every week that goes by since she filed for divorce.’

She ‘known that filing for divorce was the right decision. The kids are doing as she could hope.’

After her February filing, Kim and the children have continued to stay at their $60 million Hidden Hills mansion she previously shared with Kanye.

Although the source added that Kim is ‘not looking for anyone right now’, they continued: ‘She’s not looking to jump into anything but is keeping an open mind.’

It comes after it was recently reported that Kanye is looking to date an ‘artist and creative person’ once their divorce is made final.

Kim and Kanye were friends for years, with Kim even marrying Kris Humphries in 2011 and divorcing him 72 days later during their friendship.

The former couple became romantic in spring 2012 and got married on May 24, 2014 in Florence, Italy after enjoying celebrations in Paris, France.

Recently, Kardashian sparked romance rumors of her own as she was spotted arriving to ‘mysterious’ London billionaire Jamie Reuben’s star studded birthday bash in Beverly Hills.

The swanky bash took place one day before her seventh wedding anniversary to Kanye.

Meanwhile, following the romantic trip to France, Irina and Kanye were spotted on Wednesday arriving to a New Jersey airport together after their vacation.

The pair were both dressed casually for the occasion as they left the private plane at the same time. 

The superstar couple is currently in the midst of a divorce, but that didn’t stop the reality TV beauty from expressing her feelings about the father of her four children as she celebrates his 44th birthday online.

She posted an old photo of the pair during happy times when Kim and Kanye posed with their three older kids, taken when now-three-year-old daughter Chicago was an infant.

“Happy Birthday Love U for Life (sic)!” she captioned the image.

Kim, who pulled the plug on their 2014 marriage in February, also uploaded a full family photo on her Instagram Story timeline, as well as a Polaroid picture of the ‘Stronger’ hitmaker from 1987, adding, “Happy BDay. (sic)”

Her social media tributes emerged shortly after sister Khloe Kardashian proved she, too, still had love for Kanye and wished him well on his special day.

The reality star filed for divorce from the controversial rapper in February, and in a clip from ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ released Thursday, Kardashian is shown getting pretty emotional about the split.

During a family trip to Lake Tahoe, the last for the series as the popular E! reality show is ending after 20 years, Kardashian is seen complaining about cookies left on the table and saying she wants to go to her room “and never come out.”

One of her sisters, Khloé Kardashian, explains that Kim has been “struggling privately behind the camera about her relationship” and is “redirecting her sadness, anger, and frustration.”

Apparently, the Wests had “this big fight” before the trip and other footage shows Kim Kardashian crying to her sisters Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie, saying,” I do think he deserves someone that can support his every move.”

Kardashian then sobs that she feels like a “failure” and a “loser” for not being able to make a go of her third marriage.

She was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas and professional basketball player Kris Humphries.

Kardashian and West married in a lavish wedding in Italy in 2014 . They are the parents of four children: daughter North, who was born in 2013, followed in 2015 by a son named Saint, then daughter, Chicago, in 2018, and son, Psalm, in 2019.
