Mr Amoako, who contested as an independent candidate, secured 14,543 votes, while his closest contender, Ogbeh Charles Kofi of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), garnered 6,925 votes.

As vote counting and collation continue across the country, results from various constituencies are gradually being announced to ensure transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
