The collaboration, unveiled on August 5, 2025, aims to mobilise new funding streams to expand sustainable transport infrastructure and services, including electric buses, motorcycles, and charging stations.

By leveraging carbon markets and climate finance, the partners plan to deliver high-impact, investable projects that reduce emissions and drive inclusive economic growth.

EcoSecurities CEO Pablo Fernández said the partnership combines the company’s expertise in climate finance with Energy Quest’s deep local knowledge to “catalyze investment in low-carbon transport solutions.”

Energy Quest Founder Lesley Arthur emphasised the importance of strong partnerships and coordinated financing to scale e-mobility.

She noted that the initiative will engage governments, investors, and development partners through platforms like the EV Revolution Africa Conference.

Transport emissions in Africa are rising at nearly 4% per year, with Ghana’s transport sector accounting for 17% of national greenhouse gas emissions.

Both organisations say e-mobility presents a vital opportunity to reverse this trend while improving air quality and energy security.

The founder of the Energy Quest Foundation, Lesley Arthur Asiedu, described this second edition as an impressive progression from the first, as it attracted many participants from across the country.

The seminar was highly impactful.

This 2nd edition was themed, “Energy Career Planning and Opportunities”. It was held on Friday, October 14t the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) auditorium, East Legon.

The panelists, Ohemaa Adjei Andoh, Founder of Girls in Science and Technology (GIST), Michael Ohene Effah, Co-founder of LeadAfrique International, and Michael Bozumbil, CEO of Petrosol shared the best ways one can plan his/her career and the benefits of planning effectively.

They advised participants to consider taking whatever available opportunity they had been presented with, irrespective of their educational background or position in their bid to build their careers.

They opened participants to numerous opportunities in the Energy sector.

Milicent Bruce, CEO of Kwamms Petroleum also shared her inspiring story of how she started as security personnel for 12 years and gradually built her career in the energy sector with dedication and perseverance.

Speaking in an interview, Lesley Arthur Asiedu, Founder of Energy Quest Foundation and CEO of CUBICA Energy, described this year’s seminar as successful and practical. She stated that the purpose of impacting others with knowledge and the need to plan well to build Energy careers and develop leaders was achieved.

She stated that students especially do not get the opportunity to have practical conversations with experts and industry leaders to better understand the industry and network. Thus, the energy career seminars provided such opportunities.

She again spoke about the new areas of Energy, which have been less explored in developing countries like Ghana. She directed participants to delve into those opportunities.

This seminar is an initiative of Energy Quest Foundation, an affiliate of Cubica Energy, and was supported by the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), LeadAfrique International. Petrosol Ghana, Suka Power, JP Trustees Limited, Henos Energy, Radiance Petroleum Limited University of Ghana Business School, and University of Ghana School of Engineering Sciences.
