According to the media conglomerate, Mr Kwashie was an epitome of a great leader who looked out for the welfare of his subordinates to achieve the expected outcome of the brand.

The tribute, read by Nana Elegba, Chief Human Resource Manager of the Group, noted that Elvis Kwashie’s special attributes amongst many other phenomenal characteristics have left an indelible mark in the lives of many.

“Efo Koku will be missed for his professional competence and the unique leadership he provided for the Joy brands.

“He will also be missed for the guidance he provided to many members of the team in their personal and professional lives,” Nana Elegba read on Saturday.

Elvis Koku Kwashie passed on in the late hours of Tuesday, December 28, after a short illness at the University of Ghana Medical Centre.

This sad incident, Nana Elegba said, took everyone at the Group by surprise.

“You had taken ill suddenly at the beginning of December and news of your illness had not even trickled down to the entire team. We were convinced that your illness was a temporary setback and that you would recover from it and come back to work in no time.

“We were, therefore, struck with utter shock and disbelief when news broke that the ‘commandant’ of the Joy Brands had gone to be with his maker. We were simply lost for words. Oh! Efo! Elvis! Koku! Elder! You cannot possibly be gone.”

Recounting the Godly character of the late Manager, Nana Elegba said “Elvis took our mantra, ‘Christ at work’ very seriously and was a living spiritual compass for many of the young men and women in the business.”

He noted that Mr Kwashie took a personal interest in their spiritual growth and spent hours nurturing them.

“Elvis can rightfully be described as the soul that held the vibrant newsroom and the Joy Team together in the midst of any storm and he ensured that the team never wavered in its resolve to hold high the flag of true media independence, fearlessness, and credibility.”

The Group commended the deceased for his contribution to the company and promised to keep his memory alive.

“Elvis! Your life was short but meaningful. You served your generation well; you served your family well and you served your colleagues and company well.

“The Multimedia Group will forever remain grateful to you. Be assured that your name will go down in the annals of The Multimedia Group when our history is being chronicled.”

We always dreamt of growing old and taking care of each other – Siblings of late Elvis Kwashie http://34.58.148.58/we-always-dreamt-of-growing-old-and-taking-care-of-each-other-siblings-of-late-elvis-kwashie/ Sat, 12 Mar 2022 12:20:01 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2090553 Where do we begin? Efo Koku we cannot believe we have to write a tribute for you at this time.

We always dreamt of growing old together and taking care of each other. Our hearts are sore with the grieve of losing you at your peak.

Exactly two years ago, Daddy sadly left us and you naturally filled the leadership vacuum his demise created.

You were our physical and spiritual leader. You always insist on family prayers in all situations.

Who is going to organise the conference calls for our regular family prayer sessions Efo?
We will miss your uniqueness.

We will miss your morning greetings on the family platform, which is always followed by “l am super blessed; I can kill twenty elephants, and let’s keep praying”.

Your great sense of humour even though you come across as a very reserved person, the way you will rather call us by our “nicknames” and titles instead of our real names, your principled nature and your commitment to family issues.

The family homecoming you love to organise. The way you love to host us at your home.

The eworkple and aborbi tadi parties. The way you always reprimand us for improper dressing.

Efo Koku there’s so much we cannot put on paper. We take consolation in the fact that you came into this world and from your humble beginnings, you made so much impact.

In fact, we have been overwhelmed by how many people who told us about the way you touched them since your demise.

To us, you will always remain our simple, down to earth, funny Efo Koku.

We love you so much and will prefer to have you with us forever, but we cannot question the maker’s decision.

We will do our best to keep your dreams alive, especially for your three beautiful children.

Xede Nyie Elvis
Rest well Efo Koku
Adieu

And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the spirit that they may rest from their labours, And their works do follow them.

I don’t know how I am going to live without you – Elvis Kwashie’s wife says in touching tribute http://34.58.148.58/i-dont-know-how-i-am-going-to-live-without-you-elvis-kwashies-wife-says-in-touching-tribute/ Sat, 12 Mar 2022 10:21:20 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=2090492 Death may have robbed me of you, but it didn’t rob me of our love.

…And all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God….

You will even edit my text messages and send it back to me.

Koku my husband you made me promise never to leave your bedside because you didn’t like it even when I stepped out briefly, but you left me not just momentarily but forever.

I prayed, I did everything humanly possible together with your loved ones but I know that NO is also an answer to a prayer.

Koku I will continue to lead the children of our youth in the ways of the Lord. You are a good father in fact the best.

The word of God in Proverbs 4: 1-7 (“Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding; For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law.

When I was my father’s son, Tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, He also taught me and said to me: ‘Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands and
live. Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.’

Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding) will continually be their guide.

Pray for them to continually be godly children like they’ve always been. To the church of Pentecost who gave Koku an opportunity to serve his maker in diverse ways, I say thank you.

To the Multimedia Group especially the JOY cluster, I shared my Koku with you, and I know his prayer when he ascended his new role as general manager. He asked me to pray especially for JOY PRIME to succeed because it was the latest
addition to his portfolio.

May the God of Koku be with you and thank you for loving and accepting him the way you did.
To those, he wronged because he is human please forgive him. May his good works and prayer make you grow stronger and stronger. I am confident that his legacy will be protected.

As the word of God in Exodus. Koku you were a good father, passionate and consummate
professional in your field of work, a great man of God, but to me you were the husband of my youth, and your ability to combine all these responsibilities effortlessly blows my mind and makes me love you more.

Koku rest in the bosom of your maker but please promise never forget me, Seyram, Sedem and Senam.

THE LATE ELVIS KOKU KWASHIE

As a husband, Koku, you have been my great friend in fact my best friend, my source of strength, my intercessor, dependable partner, my teacher, life coach and many more.

Ours was like two best friends living together. Koku 5th October 2022 three days before your birthday is supposed to be our 20th wedding anniversary and you promised to
give me a diamond ring and I was looking forward to it.

This is the only promise you have not kept since we got married. On that fateful Saturday when I took you to the hospital I didn’t know it was going to be the end of friendship.

I was hopeful you were going to come back home strong. When it was tough you never stopped praying and you were rather the one encouraging me. You told God to give you your miracle, Koku is this miracle? Knowing your relationship with God, I am almost certain this is it.

I ask you, for one thing, tell God to give me just a bit of the strength you had and faith to accept it as well.

I was certain that we would grow old together and watch the children finish their education, start working and get married then we can enjoy the rest of our lives together but Koku you left us in the middle of the ocean with just a canoe without a
paddle.

How am I going to get to the shore with Seyram, Sedem and Senam whom you loved with your life and cared so much about?

Who will help correct my mistakes? I must admit I made sure even this tribute had no mistakes because even on your sick bed you made sure I didn’t speak what you always described as bad English around you.

I will continue to nurture them in the ways of the lord and I know that the Lord that you served wholeheartedly will be with us.

I take consolation in the word of God in Psalms. Koku. You were the light of my life and your love still shines bright.

My husband rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty God.

Koku hedenyuie, dzidzor Le nutifafa m3.

Love Cee.
