Veteran comic actor Akwasi Boadi ‘Akrobeto’ has joined the ongoing drama involving some Ghanaian celebrities and Cardi B over a supposed ‘meet and greet’ session last weekend.

Social media went wild and many bashed the celebrities who were allegedly snubbed by the American rapper.

Afia Schwarzenegger, Hajia4Real, Wendy Shay, Fella Makafui, Salma Mumin, and other celebrities shared their displeasure through social media but received heavy troll from fans afterward.
Meanwhile, Akrobeto has also criticized the “celebs” who have now become a laughing stock on social media.

He teased them during his ‘Real News’ show, for not valuing themselves enough to stay in their respective homes instead of “throwing themselves” at Cardi.

“Who sent you? What were you going to do there? Let Cardi B know you’re also important. After all, she is American but she eats, drinks and sleeps just like us Africans.”

“Let’s pride in ourselves as Africans and stop throwing ourselves at people’s feet anyhow,” he added.

According to Miss Forson, she knew the plan was not on Cardi B’s itinerary the minute she got there and realised it wasn’t as ‘private’ as the organisers had indicated.

Lydia Forson said she had to leave because “truth is, we all got played.”

On why she accepted the invitation, Lydia explained that it came from “someone I respect in the industry to what was supposed to be a “private lunch” is not an indication of me “lowering myself.”

She added that “obviously it was poorly organised and that’s the crime here, not us for showing up.”
