Speaking shortly after filing his nomination to contest on the ticket of the NDC, Mr Afriyie emphasized the need for strong and credible leadership to drive national and local development.

“We do not need a ‘driver’s mate’ in Ghana and Afadzato South,” Afriyie declared, referring to the necessity of having a capable leader. We need a real ‘driver’—someone who is willing, ready, and able to transform the country and bring about the needed change” he stated.

Mr Afriyie praised the NDC party structure, describing it as solid and in perfect shape for victory in the upcoming December 7th elections.

He sent a strong signal to his opponents and the electorate, emphasizing the party’s readiness to take on the challenges ahead and deliver on its promises.

“The entire NDC is in great shape, solid, and ready for victory come December 7th. This is the time for an established and credible person to lead not just our constituency but the whole country. We deserve leadership that understands the complexities of governance and development” the MP stated.

He highlighted the need for experienced and visionary leadership in Afadzato South, positioning himself as the right candidate to bring about positive changes in the area.

Mr Afriyie called on the people of the constituency to rally behind him and support the NDC’s broader agenda for national transformation.

“In Afadzato South, I, Frank Afriyie, am the right person for the job,” he said confidently.

“Ghanaians need to give John Dramani Mahama the chance to turn the fortunes of the country around positively. We need leadership that will prioritize development and work tirelessly to improve the lives of all citizens” he added.

His remarks come at a critical time as the NDC prepares for what promises to be a fiercely contested election.

He emphasized that his focus would be on addressing the pressing issues in Afadzato South, including improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare, and creating opportunities for the youth.

He urged the constituents to stay united and vote for change, insisting that the NDC’s vision aligns with the aspirations of the people. With passion and determination, he reiterated his commitment to serve, promising to be a leader who listens and delivers on his promises.

“We are not just contesting to win; we are contesting to transform. Afadzato South deserves better, and together, we will achieve it,” he concluded.

The battle lines are drawn, and as the December elections approach, Frank Afriyie’s message resonates as a call to action for his supporters and a challenge to his opponents. The road to victory, he insists, is clear, but it requires the right “driver” at the wheel.
