What Nigeria needs to be great again

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye popularly called Daddy G.O, has revealed what he believes Nigeria needs to be great again.

Pastor Adeboye encouraged Nigerians not to relent in praying for the country to avert the ugly past of conflict.

According to Punch, He spoke during a thanksgiving service at the national headquarters of the RCCG in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

“I do not want war in Nigeria. Please stop talking about war. We should now concentrate on praying that God should restore the glory of Lagos and Nigeria, in general. I believe that if there is no war, Nigeria shall be great again,”

Also speaking through Pastor Johnson Odesola, the Assistant General Overseer, Administration and Personnel, Pastor Adeboye said Nigeria ought to have achieved more given the endowment of natural and human resources spread across the country.

Punch reports that he advised political leaders to embrace the spirit of dialogue to resolve differences, noting that using force would not yield the expected outcome.

He was also reported to have said that for the country to move forward, corruption must be fought and discipline must be entrenched.

President Buhari on Friday August 18, 2017 received the General Overseer Worldwide Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor E.A. Adeboye at the Abuja House London.
Adeboye, garbed in a black native was seen sitting with the ailing president who was spotted reading the former’s biography, which he recently launched.
Buhari traveled to the United Kingdom over 100 days ago to treat unknown ailment.
Adeboye’s visit is coming barely 24 hours after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his House of Representative counterpart, Yabubu Dogara also visited the president.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said he still irons his wife’s clothes.

Adeboye said this on his official Twitter handle on Saturday.

The renowned pastor, in a series of tweets on humility, said, “I still iron/press my wife’s clothes when I’m allowed to. If you are a true leader, you must always be ready to serve, even when no one can see you.

“If you find a RCCG pastor that is not humble, then it means I wasn’t the one who ordained him or her.”
