Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has hinted at his team’s plan to exploit the weaknesses of Hearts of Oak ahead of this weekend’s much-anticipated Super Clash.
The Porcupine Warriors will take on their archrivals on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in a crucial Matchday 9 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
Both teams remain unbeaten this season, setting the stage for an electrifying encounter.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Zito highlighted the magnitude of the fixture.
“Hearts of Oak and Kotoko, everybody knows how the game is — it’s one of the best and biggest games between the two. Everybody wants to win, just as we are going there with the mindset of winning,” he said.
“You plan against the best side of your opponent and then capitalise on their weaker side, and this is what we are doing in preparation to meet Hearts of Oak,” he added.
Kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 GMT.
