Solid Rock Chapel International, Kissehman Branch, brought joy and relief to its members during the recent Christmas celebrations by supporting over 100 congregants with 5kg bags of rice each.

The generous initiative, led by the Head Pastor of the branch, Rev. Victoria Ago Quarshie, was aimed at showing appreciation for the unwavering support, commitment, and dedication of members throughout the year. Rev. Quarshie noted that the gesture was also intended to ensure that no member of the church missed out on the festive joy due to financial challenges.

“This is our way of thanking our members for standing with the church all year round. We also want to make sure that everyone, especially those who may not be able to afford it themselves, can celebrate Christmas with joy and dignity,” she stated.

In a symbolic and thoughtful arrangement, the 5kg bags of rice were placed on every chair in the auditorium ahead of the service. Members were welcomed by the sight and collected their packages even before taking their seats, creating an atmosphere of excitement and gratitude within the church.

Many members expressed heartfelt appreciation to the church leadership, describing the gesture as timely and impactful. They commended the leadership for demonstrating genuine care, love, and compassion, which they said truly reflected the spirit of Christmas.

The initiative underscores Solid Rock Chapel International’s commitment not only to spiritual growth but also to the welfare of its members, reinforcing the church’s role as a supportive and caring community.
