Ralf Rangnick has named a strong Austria national football team squad ahead of their international friendly against Ghana national football team later this month.
The match is scheduled for March 27 at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion as both countries continue preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
At the heart of the squad is David Alaba, the Real Madrid CF defender whose leadership and versatility remain central to Rangnick’s plans.
Austria’s lineup also features a mix of experience and emerging talent, including Kevin Danso, Marcel Sabitzer, Marko Arnautović, Konrad Laimer, Christoph Baumgartner and Stefan Posch.
The selection underlines Austria’s determination to take the fixture seriously, setting the stage for a competitive encounter with the Black Stars.
