All invited players have now reported to the Ghana national football team camp ahead of their international friendlies later this month, with the squad reaching full strength on Tuesday.

The team opened camp on Sunday, with 21 players taking part in their first training session on Monday. Defenders Alexander Djiku and Kojo Oppong Peprah were the final arrivals, joining the group on Tuesday.

Deputy captain Thomas Partey had earlier reported to camp on Monday but did not participate in training.

Late call-up Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer has also linked up with the squad following the withdrawals of Brandon Thomas-Asante and Iñaki Williams due to injury.
By Tuesday, the full squad was in training as preparations intensified for Friday’s friendly against Austria at the Ernst Happel Stadium.

The squad at training included Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Benjamin Asare, Joseph Anang, Patrick Pfeiffer, Derrick Luckassen, Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, Caleb Yirenkyi, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Jonas Adjetey, Marvin Senaya, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Sulemana, Kwasi Sibo, Jordan Ayew, Prince Kwabena Adu, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Daniel Agyei, Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, and Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer.

The team will continue training on Wednesday and Thursday as they fine-tune preparations for the encounter, which kicks off at 17:00 GMT on Friday, March 27, 2026.
Following the clash in Vienna, the Black Stars will travel to Stuttgart for a second friendly against Germany on Monday, March 30.
The two matches form part of Ghana’s build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in North America later this year.
