The Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has once again brought smiles and festive cheer to thousands of children in his constituency with a colour party.
The annual event, which has now become a cherished tradition in North Tongu, is aimed at commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ while spreading love, care, and compassion among children and families in the constituency.
Children drawn from various communities gathered to enjoy a day filled with excitement, laughter, and memorable moments.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Ablakwa expressed his appreciation to parents and guardians for entrusting their children to his care.
He also commended the dedication of his hardworking team, with special mention of his wife, Mrs. Noela Ablakwa, who chaired the planning committee and played a key role in the successful organization of the event.
The MP reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the development of North Tongu, stating that his increased victory margin in the last parliamentary elections reflects the confidence constituents have in his leadership and serves as a strong mandate to do even more for the people.
The MP also expressed gratitude to traditional authorities, including chiefs, queen mothers, and elders, for their continuous support and collaboration.
He reiterated his dedication to inclusive leadership and pledged to continue working tirelessly to improve the welfare and livelihoods of the people of North Tongu.

He hinted on efforts to revise the Juapong Textile to addressing youth unemployment.
The Christmas fair featured fun games, music, dancing, food, and gift-sharing, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere that left lasting impressions on the children.
Many of the young participants described the event as one of the highlights of their Christmas celebrations.
