The Yagaba-Kubori Constituency in the North East Region has delivered all its votes to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary.
Provisional results from the constituency show Bawumia received 379 votes, while all other aspirants—including Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyei-Agyepong; polled zero votes.
Prior to the election, Yagaba-Kubori Member of Parliament Mustapha Ussif pledged that his constituency would be the first to deliver a 100 percent vote for Bawumia.
True to his word, Ussif worked closely with constituency executives and delegates, organizing campaigns and mobilizing voters across the area in support of the Vice President.
Ussif’s efforts were praised by party members and delegates for ensuring strong participation and coordination throughout the voting process.
The result marks a significant boost for Bawumia in the North East Region, reinforcing his appeal and consolidating support ahead of the NPP’s national primary outcomes.
