Kennedy Agyapong has taken an early lead in three major constituencies during the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary, demonstrating strong support ahead of other candidates.

In the Asikuma Odobeng Brakwa Constituency, Agyapong received 397 votes, outpacing Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who polled 267 votes, Dr Bryan Acheampong with 104 votes, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum with 9 votes, and Ing Kwabena Adjei Agyapong with 2 votes.

At the Effutu Constituency, Agyapong dominated with 644 votes, far ahead of Dr Bawumia (79 votes) and Dr Bryan Acheampong (32 votes), while Ing Kwabena Adjei Agyapong secured 2 votes. Dr Adutwum did not register any votes in the constituency.

In the Assin North Constituency, Agyapong again led decisively with 407 votes, followed by Dr Bryan Acheampong (83 votes) and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia (40 votes). Both Dr Adutwum and Ing Kwabena Adjei Agyapong recorded no votes in this constituency.

These early results underline Agyapong’s strong foothold in key constituencies and highlight the competitive nature of the NPP presidential primary as delegates continue to cast their ballots.
