New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant and Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Dr Bryan Acheampong, has expressed strong confidence in winning the party’s 2026 presidential primary.

He dismissed claims that he lacks popularity at the grassroots, insisting that he has a firm grip on the party’s delegate base.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Dr Acheampong said propaganda narratives and psychological operations in politics will not affect his chances, as delegates have already made up their minds about their preferred candidate.

“I have profiled about 190,000 delegates. I know those who will vote for me and those who will not. None of the other candidates can beat me in this election,” he stated.

Dr Acheampong added that opinion polls would not change the minds of delegates, stressing that their choices are already settled.

He further revealed that his campaign is supported by a 40,000-member nationwide team, noting that he remains unperturbed by negative claims and fully confident of victory in the upcoming primary.
