A man has been shot dead by unknown assailants at Odomi, a farming community in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region.
Mrs. Juliana Awasan, the Assembly Member for the Keri Electoral Area, confirmed the incident. She said the military and police were immediately notified and responded swiftly to retrieve the body.
A source in the community revealed that the deceased was ambushed and shot on his farm while harvesting yams.
