The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced an increase in fees for some of its services as part of efforts to maintain and enhance service delivery.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22, the Authority said the price adjustments are necessary to support the sustainability and efficiency of its operations.
According to the NIA, the revised charges affect services such as first-time registration, personal information updates, replacement of the Ghana Card, nationality updates, and registration of non-citizen cards.
The Authority has urged the public to take note of the new fees as they take effect, assuring that the adjustments will help improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
