You’ve made such a comment and I quote: “The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has shown the way with the appointment of grassroots members and the NDC needs to learn fast in opposition”.
I am very saddened to read such a statement from a journalist. However, do not be offended because I believe this is the type of politics in Ghana. Numerous Research indicates that Democracy is the best form of government.

Unfortunately, in Ghana, the political parties through which we get our democracy are a total failure to the nation. There is no nation building in Ghana, and no unity. Policies are implemented haphazardly to strengthen political parties against national development. There is no policy continuation in Ghana and as such, Ghana is going backwards at a speed faster than even a supersonic jet. Here in the UK, we the masses do not need to register with any political party or belong to any political party as a grassroots members. Everyone looks at what policies are desirable in the community and votes according.

Please discourage people from being aligned to political parties. Already, ethnicity is an issue. I would be happy to see politics in Ghana this way to promote national unity, peace, and development.There is a lot to learn.
