The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leadership to provide more job opportunities for party supporters at the grassroots level.
Speaking during the NDC National Chairman’s Thank You Tour, Mr Dumelo noted that many members who worked hard for the party deserve to be rewarded. He emphasised that supporting grassroots members with employment opportunities is key to sustaining their commitment to the party.
Mr Dumelo also pledged to increase the party’s vote margin in the constituency in future elections, aiming to raise it from the current 13,000 to between 17,000 and 20,000 votes.
He attributed the strong performance in the constituency to the support and leadership of the NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and assured party supporters that ongoing efforts will be made to consolidate and expand the party’s influence.
Additionally, Mr Dumelo encouraged party members not to lose hope, stressing that although some may feel disappointed, opportunities will emerge with time as the NDC works to maintain power and continue delivering on its promises to Ghanaians.
