Ghana international Stella Nyamekye has completed a permanent move to Norwegian top-tier club SK Brann Kvinner, signing a two-year contract that will keep her at the club until 2028.

The midfielder joins Brann from National Women’s Soccer League side Gotham Football Club, seeking a platform to further her development and gain valuable playing experience.

“I chose Brann because I believe in the project, and it will give me the best opportunity for my development and playing experience,” Nyamekye said.

“Brann is a great team that is competing for several titles. I am a player with good overview, good ball control, and I am creative in the final third. I can also contribute by both scoring goals myself and setting up chances for my teammates,” she added.

Nyamekye, who spent part of this year on loan at Fort Lauderdale United with limited minutes, previously captained Dreamz Ladies.

She is currently featuring for the Ghana national team, the Black Queens, and was on the scoresheet in their 4-0 victory over Russia at the 2026 Pink Ladies Cup.

At just 20 years old, Nyamekye has already scored two goals for the Black Queens since making her debut.
