Man, 56, arrested over murder at Soronko farms

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man in connection with the killing of 56-year-old Enoch Obiri at Soronko Farms, near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality.

The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, is alleged to have attacked the victim on February 13, 2026, inflicting multiple stab wounds to his arm and abdomen.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Kenny had on several occasions threatened Obiri over claims of an alleged relationship with his wife.

Residents reported seeing the suspect in the area on the day of the attack, a lead police are using as they piece together events surrounding the incident.

Police say Eric Kenny remains in custody and is assisting with ongoing investigations. He is expected to be charged in court in connection with the killing.
