Mahama swears in 15 new Ambassadors and High Commissioners

President John Mahama has officially sworn in 15 distinguished individuals as Ghana’s Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Consuls-General, tasking them with representing the country in key diplomatic missions worldwide.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Jubilee House in Accra, marking a significant step in Ghana’s efforts to strengthen international relations, deepen global cooperation, and advance the nation’s strategic interests.

Addressing the new envoys, President Mahama urged them to carry out their duties with dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of national service.

He emphasized the importance of economic diplomacy, regional peace and security, and the welfare of Ghanaians living in the diaspora.
