The Member of Parliament for Kpandai Constituency, Mathew Nyindam, has extended support to victims affected by a recent rainstorm in the district, donating a total of GHC62,000.
The donation, ranging from GHC300 to GHC500 per household, was drawn from the MP’s Common Fund and aims to alleviate the hardships faced by residents whose homes and properties were destroyed by the disaster.

Presenting the relief funds, Nyindam expressed concern over the extent of the damage and reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of his constituents, particularly during times of crisis. He noted that while the amount may not fully cover all losses, it is intended to provide immediate relief as families begin to rebuild their lives.
He also called on other stakeholders, including government agencies and benevolent organizations, to support the victims.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the MP for the timely intervention, describing it as a source of hope during a difficult period, while appealing for additional assistance to fully recover from the impact of the storm.
Nyindam further urged residents to remain vigilant during the rainy season. The rainstorm, which affected several parts of the Kpandai District, displaced households and caused severe property damage, prompting urgent calls for humanitarian support.
