Former Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has been struck by tragedy following the sudden death of his father.
Mr Ofosu Nkansah announced the heartbreaking news in the early hours of Sunday, February 15, 2026, in an emotional message that has since drawn sympathy from many Ghanaians.
Expressing shock and disbelief, he revealed that his father had not been battling any known serious illness and had maintained a routine of regular medical check-ups every quarter.
According to him, the sudden nature of the loss has left the family devastated and searching for strength to cope with the painful reality.
“My Dad has never fallen sick aside going to hospital every quarter for his routine check-ups and within a week he is gone just like that. Hmmmm. Agyapa, da yie,” he wrote, using the Akan phrase meaning “Father, rest well.”
Many have taken to social media to express their sympathies and offer prayers for strength and comfort to him and his family during this difficult time.
