The Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics (GIA), Mussa Dankwah, has revealed that a significant number of New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates hold Junior High School (JHS) as their highest educational qualification.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Dankwah explained that a recent survey indicated that about 43% of delegates have JHS as their top qualification, while 11% have no formal education.
He noted that the educational background of delegates has implications for how political messages and policies are communicated within the party.
“You can have an intellectual debate among your base if there is a high level of thinking capacity, but when the base has limited formal education, communicators must simplify messages to ensure understanding,” he said.
Mr. Dankwah stressed that tailoring communication to the delegates’ educational levels is crucial, as it significantly influences internal party contests and decision-making processes.
