Gospel praise and worship leader Elikem Adenkor has revealed that he enjoys listening to secular music and counts dancehall star Stonebwoy among his favorites.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with host Kwame Dadzie, Adenkor said he appreciates Stonebwoy’s music and the wide audience the artist commands.
He explained that Stonebwoy’s influence could be used to spread positive messages, including the gospel. Adenkor added that if given the opportunity, he would gladly let the dancehall musician perform one of his songs.
Referring specifically to his current hit, Give Me Way, he said, “If I get the opportunity, I can even give him the song. He has a wider range of audience that can spread the gospel for me.”
The gospel musician noted that collaborating with or allowing mainstream artists like Stonebwoy to perform his songs could help convey God’s message to a larger audience.
