Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has heaped praise on Mohammed Kudus and two other standout performers in the English Premier League this season.

The Ghanaian international, who joined Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window in a £55 million move, has made an immediate impact, registering five assists and one goal in nine league appearances so far.

Speaking in an interview with Sporty TV, Drogba was asked which players have caught his eye this season.

The Ivorian icon replied, “I like Kudus.

“I used to like [Nicolas] Jackson because I saw a lot of similarities [with myself].

“Of course, my brother, of course, Mohammed Salah, King Salah,” the Ivorian legend added.

Statistically, Kudus has been one of the most influential wingers in Europe’s top five leagues, leading the charts for assists, accurate crosses, duels won, and successful attacking actions.

The 24-year-old will be aiming to maintain his impressive form when Tottenham face Chelsea in a highly anticipated London derby this weekend.
