The Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Ho Area, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, has urged church members to enter 2026 with bold faith, stressing that fear has no place in the life of a believer.

Speaking in an interview with Adom News during the church’s 31st Night crossover service on December 31, 2025, held at the Ho SSNIT Central, Apostle Kwafo challenged congregants to trust fully in God as they step into the new year.

He noted that believers who allow fear to dominate their lives in 2026 risk undermining their faith, a message that sparked deep reflection among worshippers at the service.

According to the Apostle, the exhortation was meant to encourage Christians to remain steadfast despite economic difficulties, personal struggles and uncertainties that may arise in the year ahead. He emphasised that faith, courage and confidence in God’s promises must define the believer’s outlook in 2026.

“The year ahead will test our faith, but believers must not allow fear to control their decisions or weaken their commitment to God,” he said, urging members to remain spiritually alert and resolute.

Meanwhile, the District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost, Ho SSNIT Flats, Pastor Peter Adams, also encouraged members to maintain a positive mindset as they enter the new year, urging them not to be afraid of any challenges they may face.

The 31st Night service, a major annual event in the Christian calendar, marked the transition from 2025 into 2026 and attracted hundreds of members who gathered for prayers, worship and prophetic declarations.

Some congregants described the message as a strong wake-up call, while others saw it as a challenge to deepen their faith and reliance on God in the year ahead.

The Church of Pentecost remains one of Ghana’s largest Christian denominations, and its end-of-year messages continue to shape the spiritual expectations and outlook of its members across the country.
