The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has stated that the government is determined to ensure Ekumfi receives its fair share of national development.
Speaking in the Ekumfi Constituency, Mr Asiedu Nketia said the government has commenced the first phase of the Big Push road initiative, with subsequent phases expected to further address poor road networks across the country.
He noted that Ekumfi, which has produced two Vice Presidents and a President, deserves significant development and attention.
He assured residents that the NDC government would deliberately pursue policies and projects aimed at improving infrastructure and livelihoods in the area.
Mr Asiedu Nketia added that although the government is only one year into its mandate, he believes Ghanaians are satisfied with its performance so far, stressing that the party was entrusted with power because of public confidence in its vision.
