The organisers of the Ghana Music Awards USA (GMA-USA) have honoured the Founder of Reign House Chapel, Prophet Eric Boahen Uche, for his outstanding contribution to Ghana’s music industry.
The recognition was presented by the Chief Executive Officer of GMA-USA, Mr. Dennis Boafo, popularly known as Don, during a ceremony held at the church on Sunday, October 12.
Presenting the citation, Mr. Boafo praised Prophet Boahen for being a strong pillar of support to many sections of Ghana’s music ecosystem, particularly within the gospel music community.
“This is in recognition of your remarkable contribution to the gospel music industry in Ghana and beyond,” he said, adding that the Prophet’s continued support has helped sustain several gospel musicians despite the industry’s challenges.
He also acknowledged that Prophet Boahen played a significant role in supporting this year’s GMA-USA event, describing his contribution as one that “cannot be overlooked.”
In response, Prophet Eric Boahen expressed gratitude to the organisers for the honour, noting that it serves as an encouragement for him and others to continue supporting the work of GMA-USA.
He further urged the team to continue working diligently to promote Ghanaian music across the diaspora, stressing the need for unity and collaboration in advancing the nation’s creative industry.
