Kwaw Kese has criticised the Telecel Ghana Music Awards over its nomination process, suggesting that the scheme has become confusing and unpredictable.

In a post on X, the outspoken musician joked that the awards appear to announce nominees without the public even noticing when the selection process begins.

“Ghana Music Awards turn gob3. You just wake up one day and there’s a nominees party and you ask yourself how and when people got nominated,” he wrote.

Kwaw Kese went further to sarcastically rename the awards scheme, saying it should be called the “Beans Music Awards.”

“Call it Beans Music Awards,” he added in the tweet.
