Galamsey: Gov’t appointees massaging issues, we’ll all suffer if … – Kingsley Agyemang

-

Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, has criticized the government and its appointees for downplaying the galamsey crisis instead of finding solutions.

In an interview with Adom News, Dr. Agyemang warned that the situation will have devastating effects on all Ghanaians, regardless of political affiliation.

He expressed concern over the water crisis, citing the country’s resort to importing water due to high turbidity levels in water bodies.

Dr. Agyemang urged the government to take immediate action to protect water bodies and called on appointees to stop politicizing the issue.

The MP also dismissed allegations of NPP involvement in galamsey, without elaborating further.

Dr. Agyemang’s warnings highlight the urgent need for collective action to address the galamsey crisis and its far-reaching consequences.
