The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, following her recent passing in Accra.
The visit, which took place at the Ridge residence of the Rawlings family, was to commiserate with them and pay respects to a woman celebrated for her lifelong dedication to public service and national development.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, accompanied by a delegation of traditional leaders from the Ga Traditional Council, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the late Nana Konadu as a pillar of Ghanaian womanhood.
He noted that her death was not only a loss to her family but also to the nation, particularly the women whose lives she helped transform through her advocacy and leadership.
The condolence visit by the Ga Mantse forms part of ongoing tributes from national and traditional leaders, dignitaries and political figures, who continue to honour Nana Konadu’s extraordinary contribution to Ghana’s democratic and social development.
Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 after a brief illness. She was 76.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be officially announced by the family.
