A section of the Greenhouse Factory at Shai Hills has been ravaged by fire, prompting a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
According to reports, four fire tenders from the Gbetsile, Devtraco, Tema Metro, and Motorway Fire Stations were dispatched to the scene to battle the blaze.
Firefighters engaged in intense operations to bring the situation under control and prevent the flames from spreading to other parts of the facility.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established, and no casualties have been reported.
Investigations have since been launched to determine the extent of damage and the circumstances leading to the incident.
The GNFS has commended its personnel for their rapid response and urged industries to strengthen fire safety measures to avoid similar occurrences.
